Yeah, I can be kinda funny at times, but you should have seen be doing stand up last week--I threw a few out there that got nothing but silence. Even the crickets didn't chirp.

Hmm, I'm thinking I will flake on her, which would likely make her wonder why I didn't come and start chasing me. I try to do a lot of attraction framing and even a little sexual framing, but she always seems to dodge it.

A friend suggested I counter offer when she asks why I didnt go to church...something like

Well if you go to church with her you are about 99.99% guaranteed to have lunch with her afterwards. You know what they say about venue hopping.

If nothing else is working and I liked the girl enough I suppose I would go. This is her form of comfort building. She knows nothing bad can happen at this venue other than you two not hitting it off.
