Also, I have a question that I don't think is relevant to any of the other boards: How do I use my pent-up anger and resentment to my advantage?
To explain, in the past few years, I have developed a lot of anger and bitterness from my AFC lifestyle. (This might be what has affected my social attitude, but I'm not sure.) Frankly, I cannot find any way to get rid of these poisonous emotions. I was wondering if there was any way to turn the rage within into productive action. So far, it only causes me overwhelming apathy.
Ya know... I had a brief period of this myself. What I did to fix it was simply look in the mirror at myself. Point out a few (JUST A FEW) things that I didn't like about myself that I knew with a lil bit of money and about a month of work I could fix.
A few things that I noticed that I usually didn't before was:
A.) Facial Hair - I use to like being very scraggly and have thick hair on my face just for the fact that I look very young if I shaved. And also I had SOME acne that I really didn't go to any great length to fixing. FIX: I completely shaved and started using skin treatment/acne treatment everyday.
B.) Cloths - I felt that some of my clothes were getting old and out of style. But I always dwelled on the fact that my money should go to something more "important" when really it went to pointless sh*t. FIX: I went to a few stores and got about 3 wardrobes for Daytime Sarging, Club Wear, Bar Wear. But before I went off buying clothes I analyzed what clothes would suit certain situations, looked through some GQ magazines, found what I liked, THEN got the clothes. Hats are useful in alot of situations when your out sarging by the way... you'll learn to use hats that will make you stand out and beanies which a friend taught me a nice lil conversation piece with beanies. Shoes are a big factor (in my book) as well.
C.) Smell - It's not that I smelled bad...

... its that I smelled... average... like everyone else... so I went out and got a few colognes that I felt not many guys either have heard of or use. I also have heard from girls that Curve is the most overused cologne out there. Get something original.
D.) Hair - I use to have ALOT of hair but I found that it (in a way) made it hard to communicate with my eyes because I had long bangs... Now I was able to work with the long hair but now I have short hair with a FoHawk (like a mohawk just not completely shaved on the sides) kinda helps with peacocking.
Those are a few things that I fixed... And the moment I finished fixing a few of those things... it boosted my confidence level extremely by itself.
Now I'm not saying these are things that YOU should fix... these were just a few things that I found the simplest to fix within a months time.
But with the Anger that I built up inside about my AFC life was practically gone cause I realized I just made a huge transformation in a short period of time. And with that fast of progression I knew I only had good times coming in my future.
Some of the PUAs of this forums may think this way isnt the best but I'm just saying this is the route I took to alleviate alot of stress and anger.
