I was talking to Mojo about this and I liked what he said. Don't recruit. Guys find the PU community when they are ready. My 2 closest friends both know about the technology. One's a guy and one's a girl and they both have a different take on it. She thinks It's manipulative but supports me because she believes I will do the right thing. He thinks It's cool but doesn't want to get active until he looses a few hundred pounds.
I think active recruiting is a phase we go through because we know it's cool and want people to know we found this cool thing that we are learning. I am realizing that unless there is a situation that gets them proactive about self change and realization they won't stick with it. It's that whole "You can lead a whore to culture but you can't make her think" thing.
Go ahead and recruit if you feel you must but in the end, it won't do them or your any good so what's the use. As far as your friends go, invite them in, if they are really on the path they will stay, if not, their loss.
Wanna know what I'm thinking about?
