I think you highly over-estimate the power of PUA "social mastery". Most in the community, as in real life, are beta males. That's because the usual course of action in finding the community is living a life a beta-tude and getting sick of it. I am not saying a beta cannot become an Alpha, I am saying most don't and most aren't.

Yes, you should not go into a marriage thinking it would fail. That would just plain be stupid. The way I see it is: you have to pick someone with excellent family values and a nurturing instinct. Thus, you marry a foreign bird who comes form a country where family is still sacred and has not been infected with feminist ideology. Bam! Win-win.

I know there are no guarantees in life but I'm not willing to gamble my happiness when I know the odds are against me. The saying,"it is to better to have love and then lost, than to have never loved at all" is horseshit. The reality isthat most divorces are devastating to men, financially, emotionally, and physically. Most men, if given the choice, would not have gotten married. Knowing that, would you still get married? Of course not. Why put yourself through the pain?
Similar to investing, you wouldnt buy a stock if there was a high probability of the price going down (unless you are shorting it). People do hours of analysis to determine if the stock is a good choice. They take calculated risks.
