I went out with this woman last night. She's about a 7.5, not a gorgeous 10 with a rockin' body, but I thought she was adorable. She's Thai, tiny and bubbly, just my type. We had drinks and a little food. We both admitted to being nervous, but we started to relax and have a good time. She started playing footsie under the table. We were flirting. I was teasing her. I told her I was having a good time and suggested we go play pool. She agreed.
While playing pool, whenever she finished a shot, she returned to me and leaned against me between my legs, or she would sit with her leg over mine. There was a lot of touching and kissing. Most of this was initiated by her, and I was happy to participate. Sex was inevitible. But not last night, because we both had kids at home. We talked about going for sushi tomorrow when I won't have a kid at home. Her idea, actually. It seemed like everything was aligned. All I had to do was not screw it up, right?
Nope. I got a text at 5:00 AM saying, "I really liked u but i didnt feel sparks flying like i wanted to i dont want to waste ur time im sry."
Thoughts?
... And ... back to the thread ...
There may have been an ex involved, or a number of other things. If there weren't some major external issue, then the problem is that 1) "Sex was inevitible [sic]" - you may have been too available, and when you didn't close that night, things backfired and 2) "most of this was initiated by her" which is fine, but even in those situations, you still need to LEAD.
As to what I'd do if I were in your place? I'd probably call in couple days.
Edit: just noticed she texted at 5 am. If you didn't qualify her well enough, then that's something to consider.
