I try to consider any experince a "learning" experince. I need to share a failure that shouldn't have on my own posting ;)

Anyways, I agree with you on the "handicapp parking" abuse - it can be difficult to determine if that person is faking it. I've even seen a Police car parked in such a spot, but who knows, perhaps the officer *IS* handicapped?

I have a handicapp sign in my car. I don't use it for myself (I am very fit) - but I may park in a handicapped spot in a store for a good reason... to pick up my mother who is waiting for me somewhere inside.

If you came up to me, I would have my reason ;)

But I remember about 10 years ago, we had a friend who had severe handicapp. We'd take him to concerts with us both becaused HE enjoyed them - but also it allows us to park next to the entrance and faster access into areas, sometimes closer to the stage ;) He'd joke about the advantages of such a condition in a wheelchair ;)
