You know, for a time I thought, why would I want to go to a night spot full of PUA's and deal with the competition?
Then I realized that if there's enough PUA's in one place, you can actually change the culture of the spot. For example, if it's a place where groups are very cliqued, after being opened several times, they probably conclude, however subconsciously, that it is a normal thing to be opened up at that club. They could be thinking, "this is an interesting place with lots of friendly cute and sociable guys" (ahem). So girls get greased up and get social with strangers.
This was the experience at the Quarter Bar Saturday night, where some PUA's thought I was part of a group of girls I had just met. I loved that they were there, keeping things flowing. It made things easier for me.
I always saw flash mobbing as a sort of experimental performance art. But sometimes art can lead us to explore new directions in society. Sometimes major trends are mainstreamed aspects of an early experiment.
Now we know about Cialdini's social proof. Truth can be defined to a group of people if something is stated often enough by enough people. Now I'm wondering. What can one do with this? A PUA flash mob shows up. No one at the place knows that this mob is connected. That they know each other and are organized. What can be done or said to lead the entire club to do or act a certain way? Perhaps some NLP or cold reading that is reiterated set after set to make the girls more loose.
Perhaps everyone could say something like "I saw this girl leave with a stranger she just met." Or "Did you see that couple making out in the corner? Seems like everyone here is making out." Or better, "Did you see those two girls and that one guy making out upstairs?" And then have different variations of that. Or to turn some new AFC into a rock star as an initiation rite. Or to make the entire bar jump to the same place. The possibilities are endless.
Any ideas?
