First trip to Uptown, thoughts on it .

First I gotta send a big thanks to my boy Triumvirate. He answered all my texts and told me where to go, what was what, and let me hang with him a bit, although it was hard to stay together for all the women we were meeting. If you are reading this and get a chance to run with him, do it. What little bit I seen of him in action, he's very good and you can learn something from him. Bro I did end up at Renfreds or whatever it was called on Routh Saturday night (sun morning) about 1am but didn't see you.

You also nailed it on the 3 story bar Saturday we met at where you were talking to the chick by the fire lamp outside. I once said I'd like to get in a club there with some exotic looking hispanic women and that was a nice spot.

Friday I walked up to Mckinney about 4:30pm and did a little day game. Met 4 hotties within about 45 minutes. 2 were sweet and willing to talk, 2 just kinda walked away. I think that night I got out about 9pm and walked up to Mckinney. I met about 15 or so women in the bars with conversations generally lasting 5 to 10 minutes each night. I started out at the bar across from Frankies that's got the white design. Sat at the bar and within a couple minutes met a pair of chicks together who offered to give me a ride to a place Triumvirate was headed and they said they wanted to go to. "cowboy" something? They were sweet and the one I talked to most had a great Russian accent. I decided I wasn't ready to leave but they were. Next I walked in to the bar beside Trophy Room. Sat there and watched the Mavericks. I think I met about 4 chicks in there. One was real familiar with the area and we talked most, so I got her number more less for advice for Saturday purposes on what to do. I actually never texted her b/c I found plenty to do Saturday during the day.

Anyway, after about an hour plus In there I walked over to Trophy Room where Triumvirate ended up going. There I met one real hot 2 set not overly outgoing, and some other hot girl who wouldn't leave me alone. On the set, as I was talking, some asshole somewhere close by kept farting. That might have been why they weren't too excited to see me but I told them it wasn't me. The girl who wouldn't leave me alone had 2 friends with her and when she took to me her girls just walked off. She had same night lay potential , but was a little bit obnoxious and getting on my nerves b/c I told her I traveled down from LR to see a plastic surgeon. Triumvirate was grinding pretty hard some cute chick. Dude can dance. Anyway I think I met about 6 or 7 girls in there and definitely liked the place. By that time it was a little after 1am and I was tired so I hopped in a cab and went home.

Saturday I walked back to Mckinney about 12pm and walked up and down that street until 4. There was nothing to do where I was staying so I might as well have. There wasn't a whole lot going on other than folks eating on patios and I didn't really want to mess with them eating. I didn't really see too many hot chicks accessible for talking. I did walk all the way to the mall areas and met one girl coming out of a store. I used unique mall line "did you find every thing you needed today?" (while looking and pointing at her bag) She thought it was funny but kind of in a hurry or timid it seemed.

So at 4ish, I walked down Routh headed home and stumbled upon this totally cool outdoor bar called "katy" something. It's about a half acre with im guessing 250 people packed in eating, talking and dancing and I think I remember hearing music. What was totally cool about it was that it's right beside turtle creek trail which seemed real popular. Sitting on a bench by herself at the entrance was some cute chick who was telling me about this katy bar and the trail. I got the feeling she wanted to be hit on, bad. This was one I was thinking about taking out Saturday night but decided against it. I didn't go into the party b/c it seemed like one of those click places where it's best to have a group of friends.

so I left there and the best hit I had all weekend was walking home down Fairmount. Some chick was walking out of her apartment parking lot and I asked if she was going to Mckinney. We hit it off well but one thing I noticed with almost all these chicks is that when it got to the point they realized I was from Little Rock and only in town for the weekend, they no longer viewed me as a potential mate but more less someone to talk too. I'm generally not in the habit of telling lies especially on something that's easy to find out, or easy for me to slip up on.

Nothing really spectacular happened Saturday night but more of the same of what happened Friday. I guess the highlight of my Saturday night was going back to that bar beside Trophy club and meeting some shy good looking guy about 25. We were talking nightlife stuff and I opened a hottie by us by asking if her boots were leather. she asked us where we were from and when he said he just moved to that area, she got really in to him. It wouldn't surprise me if they didn't leave together. I was pretty happy I could help the dude out. The only other highlight there was before meeting her, meeting some blonde with her big muscled up friend all over her. She was from Frisco and we talked some baseball or something. It's like I told the dude I hooked up. He was stunned I talked to a girl with a dude on her, big dude at that, but, a lot of times it's not really the boyfriend.

The clubbing I have done for 12 years has been in Little Rock and I can sort of compare Uptown to it. And I will throw in a couple more tidbits;

The crowd Friday seemed nicer than Saturday. Maybe girls are more excited b/c their weekend just started as opposed to it being half way over but I would guess 80% friday were super nice, 50% saturday were and of the 50% of negative Saturday, 2 or 3 of them were downright mean. I didn't meet any mean girls Friday

I think there is a real good ratio of women to dudes out in Uptown. I would say it's almost 50% which is a players total paradise. In Little Rock the radio is about 75 to 90% male depending on night and/or venue

Dudes in Dallas don't seem to approach as much as dudes in Little Rock. A lot of instances I was in, guys didn't do any approaches until they saw me do one. It was amazing how many times I observed 1 male , or 2 males together with a woman who they were checking out within 10 feet and they wouldn't do anything. You guys post about guys chickening out on sarging or winging just have to deal with it b/c a high percent of Dallas guys are timid of these chicks.

The only advice Triumvirate missed on was predicting club Avenu. I walked in Saturday about 10:45 and it was dead. By dead I mean maybe 7 patrons. The set up looked awesome and I got in free but only stayed about 10 minutes.

If I had my choice on a pleasant climate weekend, definitely sober day game around Uptown and that turtle creek trail would be my favorite as opposed to bar hopping all night. If a guy is in good shape and can walk several hours at a time, and actually talk, he won't have any problems meeting females there during day.

The cops I talked to working that street at night were cool. Apparently in Uptown, cops are thought of by women as about one step above mcdonalds workers. In Little Rock, most women think of cops as heroes.

Uptown is saturated with lonely people. I've never seen so many pretty girls or good looking guys walking around alone.

Things that look like couples down there I would guess at least 50% of the time it's not. I can't tell you the amount of women holding hands with some guy, and I could see by the look in her eye and her body language she wasn't satisfied.

Whats up with all the yellow Lamborghini's? I seen 3 or 4 Lambo's, all yellow.

The first girl I opened on the street Saturday was where Mckinney goes one way. She was walking her boxer puppy and it got crossed up with a Siberian husky sparking a minor dog riot in front of a bunch of people eating at those tables. We talked a bit about that and I played with the dog a bit, and for some reason everyone sitting out there eating wanted to hear what I was saying to this chick.

I only saw one drunken bar scuffle.

one thing you guys were right about concerning some of my advice I give here, is that Uptown is a little different in techniques I can use to seduce women. I only go for skinny cute chicks and I'm accustomed to blasting through possible boyfriends if I think they aren't together. A dated a chick once, tan, fake boobs, nurse who told me she goes out with dudes, holds hands and does it to keep guys off her but if a guy has the balls to go through the guy she's with , she loves it. so my mindset here is a little more aggressive so some "hard to get" tactics I've given may work but may not be necessary there. If I lived there, I could be fucking a different girl almost every night.

Well, that's about all I got. Nice town and I would certainly trade the Little Rock scene for it.
