I have been in a LTR for about 2 years now and thing are going good. Since I have been in my LTR I really don't think about PUA any more, I really don't have a reason to but I have started to think nothing last forever and If do have to get back out there I really don't want to have to start over from square one.
What do you guys think can you still work on your PUA skills with out hurting the LTR? I am sure this is come up in the past but maybe some one has some more insight on this.

I think you can.
I think the major issues and the core requirements of being a PUA... or better man in general require a person to "practice" them any time.
Pick up, is about being a man. It's a movement that is teaching men to be men once again. To throw off the shackles of feminism and being a wuss that have allowed this country to become one big emotional tampon.
That's my thought on this. Hell, your relationship may just get better for it.

I guess it depends what you mean. If you mean being a man, then no, being in a relationship has nothing to do with it. I know many fine and manly men in relationships.

Looking at it that way, of course you lose something if you stop practicing. There is no doubt in my mind, because I've lived it. It's like a muscle that goes flabby when you don't work on it.
I was out of the game for a year or two in an LTR, and I didn't mentally check back in to the game till say early Aug. I won't say I've had to start from scratch, but I've absolutely been set back, and had to work to get back to having that instinct to do the right things in set. In fact, I still have work to do to get back to my best form.

Yes, but isn't this point? I remember early on reading an analogy comparing all this to a video game. You could win, you could lose, you could get to a higher level than you did the last time you played. At some point, though, the game ends and you end up back at level one, and you gotta start all over again. And that's part of the fun, isn't it?

thats probably easier said than done. Obviously if he wants to keep her around while gaming then she might be worth the trouble in his eyes. It sounds like you know it will hinder your game to keep her around but she could be a great girl and shes worth sticking by to see what blossoms. You appear to want to stay primed just in case it doesnt work out bc of course we're guys and we're always looking for greener pastures.

Fair enough. But, I've been in both places. I've cut girls loose to work on my Game. And, I've tried to keep a girl while trying to improve my Game.
Cutting them loose should never fill you with regret. If it did, then you made the wrong choice. That's why regret exists. It tells you that you made a bad decision. People never regret the things that they did that were RIGHT, just they ones that were (or most likely were) wrong.
Staying in an LTR while trying to improve your Game is wrong as well. If she was just a casual girl then I say fine, work on your Game and enjoy your fuck buddy. But, she's NOT.
This biggest reason to cut her loose is your development and growth (because it's always about YOU first). You only grow if you're hungry to grow. But, when you're getting fed pussy from your LTR how hungry are you going to be to push yourself to approach? A man with a fridge and pantry full of food never stole from a grocery store. Same thing applies here. You're not going to approach the way you should because you're still getting fed.
And, LTR's take WORK. If you're not focused on making it work (which you can do by applying aspects of Game to the relationship such as frame control, being alpha, leading, and training/setting expectations for her behavior) then you're doing you and her a disservice. Jast, you sound like a young guy. You think that you'll be this way forever. Well, you'll stay young longer than her, but you'll get old too. If you're not 100% happy here, then you HAVE to leave. If you want to keep your skills sharp, then my guess is that you're not 100% happy. Don't throw away your youth being with a girl that you don't want to be with. And, don't steal her very valuable youth as well (remember, girls hit a wall around 30-35 and it gets scary FAST).
