Insight on situation

The situation:
Something that never happens when I am by myself occurs when I am with my three year old son: women approach us (as you probably have witnessed women love coming up and doing the "oooh so cute" thing with most kids and asking their age and that type of thing). By myself, I have never had women just approach me but when I am with my son it happens quite often that women approach us together.

So to the point:

In the past, I would just shrug off that the women approaching my son/me would not be interested in me because I am a single father. But I have decided to mentally believe that there might be a couple HB's that are interested. If I could more effectively escalate the conversation and display my value or qualify them (I am lost at this point) I believe there are some serious opportunities that I am certainly missing out on.

Help:
Soooo, what I am trying to work on is how to move to A3/C1 comfortably when I am with my son. Almost always have fun conversation with the HB about my son and then listening to the HB's experience with children. Feel there is an opportunity with the above situation but struggling with how to move on to A3 or get a number comfortably so I can move to the next steps with the HB's that we luckily interact with.

Any thoughts/feedback would be appreciated.

Using your kid for peacocking? I LOVE IT!!!

Always assume it's on. I've got a kid too and you can't run game if you chasing him. And, he will act up if she's taking too much your attention from him.

I'd just go for a #close, call her and make plans for another time.
