Were talking about brad Pitt from fight club vs. Michael cera from Superbad.
I think the words of each side's argument are falling on deaf ears. The fitness centric guys of the board think it's the pinnacle of success with the opposite sex. Those who don't care too much about fitness think the same results can be achieved without a 6-pack. There has to be much more to the man than abs that a pilgrim can wash a tunic on. Women aren't as visual as you and I. Women look at a guy and postulate what KIND OF guy he is, which is different from the way we typically look at women (various levels of hot/not.)
I understand that you CAN find chicks that are all aboot the super fit guy, but that's what they are in to.
Ever hear a chick say they're in to rocker guys? In my mind, this kind of guy has a skinny/lanky/emaciated bod type. That's not 6-pack abs.
The article isn't Fatty vs. Adonis...it's "average" vs. Adonis. "Average" includes "fit" in my perception of the scale.
I guess, in the end, it really boils down to what you feel you need to be comfortable with yourself to get what you want. More power to you when you figure it out for yourself.
