Groupie Game

We'll call her HBgroupie, because there seems to be a bragging and social climbing aspect to her personality. Like, she's a total groupie, looking to bag musicians and artist-types, especially (and maybe exclusively) if they have some sort of fame/success (at least in her eyes). I'm not an artist or musician, so I can't compete on those terms. I don't have the concrete "celebrity value" but I'm hoping I can still exude as-high or higher value through sheer personality and frame control.[/FONT][/COLOR]

I recently discovered from a mutual friend that she's had sex with a guy in a very (albeit marginally) successful international touring rock group (would rather not mention the band's name). Total groupie hook-up. But as it turns out, in the past I've hooked up with another girl who has also had sex with this same guy! Perhaps I can play this to my advantage?[/FONT][/COLOR]

I'm not sure why you'd want to go after a girl thats all about social climbing? Just the thrill of the challenge perhaps?

Yeah, just the challenge, I guess. Also, I seem to run into these types frequently, and I was wondering if there were any strategy I could apply across the board to level the playing field for me.

You don't have to be a musician or an artist to enjoy and appreciate music and art. In fact, you can be quite knowledgeable in her specific genre of music that you'd basically be a musician in her eyes...because you're so engulfed in the music.

You asked, so here it is...

If you are not an artist or a musician, then you have virtually no chance with this girl. In a sense, we're ALL groupies. It's just what we decide to be our 'group' that's different. If you replace the word group with type, then you'll see what I'm saying.

For example, once I was out, by myself, on my favorite Gaming circuit (mostly low-key Lakewood, Deep Ellum, Exposition Park, and Knox/Henderson venues) and struck up a conversation with a 3 set at a Lakewood bar. The 3 set consisted of a very unattractive red-head, a cute HB7, and, my target, another HB7.

Now, there were two HB7s in that set, both of which I thought were really attractive. BUT, my target was more my 'type' of girl. She wasn't more attractive, she was just more appealing to me and my preferences. So, I started running some Game on these three and we have a great conversation with a lot of energy, they were clearly happy a socially literate guy was talking with them (this is why I always prefered this circuit...the girls are geniunely happy to be talking with you).

The target was exactly the kind of chick I dig. She was edgy, she had tats, she had a dark complextion, dark hair, green eyes, and the body type I DIG. But, I wouldn't say she was more attractive than the other HB7, just more my type, and, therefore, more appealing to me.

The night progresses and we bounce to two different bars. I'm making GREAT progress with the group, but not as much with my target as I would have wanted. Eventually, I come to the conclusion that the other HB7 is interested in me and my target HB7 is not. Shortly thereafter it comes out what kind of 'type' of guy the target likes...I did not fit that profile at all, she only dated Asians...I'm not Asian.

Oh well, I think, I'm going to stick this out and see if I can close her anyway. I never did. By the end of the night, as we were walking back to our cars, the other HB7 pulled me aside and gave me her number. So, I escalated, and we made out a little...even though she wasn't my 'type' I still ended up going home with her. She was attractive enough for me to fuck, I just didn't get uber excited about doing so like I would have with my target. Also, I knew that there was basically 0% chance I would stay with her beyond a few, casual fucks.

My point is this: men and women have types. Men are much more willing to fuck a girl that is not his type as long as she is attractive. Women, on the other hand, are not as flexible. Typically, they will not deviate from their type no matter how attractive he may be to her. My target had never been with any other guy but an Asian. Period, end of story. Breaking personal preferences and precedents will be a lengthy, burdensome endeavor.

I say Game her, but only as a very low priority. In other words, don't invest too much into this one. If you aren't her type, it's going to be hard to get around that.

But some ladies just dig what they dig, and if you're it, she'll make it happen for you. If you're not, and you hang in there, you're hanging in for a long ride.

This might be a good sarge to use SS. You could talk to her about creativity and how that's an important aspect of sexual attraction between people. You could talk about the difference between being an artist that uses a more permanent medium, where you might not get instantaneous recognition but your work lives on forever and you build a legacy, and being a performing artist, where you make an incredible real-time connection with people that sends an amazing energy through your body and how knowing that it's just for tonight makes you want to lose yourself in the moment and experience this connection, with me, the way I see it, that is an incredible feeling to experience. Ask her questions about what she experiences when she watches a band or an artist she admires, and repeat it back to her anchoring it to yourself. Whatever it is she gets out of following a musician, you can give to her in that moment just by using language that triggers that process. She seems like the type that would respond to it.
