Number close with little to no IOI? Advice

Last night I went out, worked the room a little bit and finally found a HB8 that I wanted to get to know. We chat it up a bit, I neg her a bit, Kino a bit however I did'nt get much Kino back. (Hand squeezing etc). So I leave her, see her later on, continue chatting and finally jokingly ask for her email address, which she scoffs at and gives me her phone number instead. Afterwards I try and see if she is more receptive, and hold her hands again etc, still no squeeze back. At this point she is looking around, etc. I am confused, but play it off and say that I need to get back to my friends and I'll call her.

The question is, is this a dead number? Meaning does the lack of IOI point to the fact that calling is probably a waste of time? If not, how do ya'll handle such circumstances?

I posted this a few hours ago, but this one may be easier to answer.

When getting a number with little IOI, is this essentially a dead number? I know its real because I called her right then and it rang. However how do you recover from the lack of interest? What do you guys do in this situation.

This is why you will see me run short sets number closing on high points and then ejecting on an equally high point. Even if I think it could be an SNL I will still eject on a high point. There is no rule that says PUA must stay in set for x amount of time and if he leaves game over. No way. Go in leave...come back...stay a while...leave...come back...etc.

Yes there are all sorts of IOI's that be be thrown your way. But just because she is sending lack of interest signals doesn't mean your number will flake. Now if you did something that she found highly annoying and knew right then you were a douche that is a different story. I have a feeling though things went into a lull period and she found her self getting bored and didn't know how to keep the conversation alive.

You know the number is legit so when you feel like it shoot her a text of some sort busting her balls a little. You have the most solid IOI which is she gave you a legit number. Don't concentrate on the IOD's you think you received. Just because she didn't squeeze your hand back doesn't necessarily mean she wasn't interested...some girls just won't squeeze back. It isn't exact science.

Text / call her. You'll never know if it's dead or not until then.

Keeping in mind IOI's is good, but don't be reactive when it comes to them.
