Smirks, idk but I have always been stubborn when it comes to following other peoples advice. This does not mean I do not listen to advice, and it doesn't mean I never take advice, but I just go with my gut too much. Probably something I need to work on...

UL, ive met you a couple of times and seem like a pretty cool kid, but why did you even start this thread?
you created this thread seeking advice, yet when people give you their opinions, you have a rebuttal for everything....!
im not saying you have to do everything they said. as good as these guys are, they dont know everything, but at the very least, take it into consideration.
you say you want advice, but it seems as if youre mind is already made; you just want us to say what you want to hear...
having said that..
..dude, UL, shes totally into you; just look at ALL THOSE SIGNS!! you should just drop by her dorm and say, "hey, i like you. will you be my gf?" she'll just jump into your arms...! :rolleyes:

Dallaslair, I am sorry. I have been naive and stupid. Prodigy thank you for pointing it out to me. I will next her. I do read every bit of advice you guys give. I do. Guess I am too stubborn. I definitely have to work on that. I am sorry if I seemed like an ass. Thank you all for helping me though :)

Nexting her is a waste of an opportunity to learn. She will try to waste your time. She is sending conflicting signals and false IOIs. You need to learn what that looks like. You need to learn how to spot it. An intuitive sense for when a girl is stringing you along is extremely valuable.
Go for it. Crash and burn if you have to. What you learn from her will be much more valuable than the pussy you probably won't get.

you didnt have to apologize or next her...you have to just take into account all thats happened and make the decision for yourself. maybe itll work out, maybe it wont...at the very least you can learn from it.
the intention of my post was not to call you out, i just want you to take the lair's advice into consideration; thats the point of this community, to help each other out. does that mean you have to do everything that's said? of course not. youre an individual capable of making adult decisions...
with that being said, i personally feel that this wont go very far. sure there were IOI's and it seems like she enjoys talking to you, but i think because you "like" her, you rationalize and make connections that arent really there.
i suggest you pursue, but be a bit more distant and aloof as some have mentioned. dont be so focused on getting her out, but let it happen naturally. if everytime you talked and you asked her to hang out, it may come off as needy and desperate. just have normal conversations that really elicit emotions and if she really likes you, shell make it known and probably even suggest hanging out...

This thread shows me one thing: UL, you're easy to manipulate. If we have you apologizing and suddenly switching to "nexting" her...there's no telling what she's really doing to you, man. I think the problem here is that you're too eager for something to happen. Being eager isn't always necessarily a bad thing, but in excess...it will be your demise.
My suggestion to you would be to step back from the situation a bit, take a bird's eye view, do a little wooo saaaa ear rub thing from Bad Boys 2, and dive back in and see what all the little tricks are that she has up her sleeve. Chances are you've seen them before and had no idea what they really were.
