How much greener is the grass on the "other" side?

Sup playas?
Throughout my life I have observed that my life follows a certain flow of positive and negative events. Now that I am older, and more smarter (lol), if I were asked to graph this flow it would be similar to a graph of a sine wave:

Keep in mind that I said similar, this positive and negative flow can sometimes be sporadic, throwing the sine wave off some. What I mean by positive and negative flow is that I have discovered that, in my life, there are times of great joy and happiness(the crest of the wave) followed by times of anger and/or sadness(the trough of the wave) and in between those times there are periods of neutrality. An example of a time of positive energy would be my high school graduation and an example of a time of neg energy would be a death in the family.
Now I have always had a lot of guy friends, and I have also observed this type of pattern in their lives as well as mine. I am assuming this model of positive and neg energy flow is a recurring pattern in most guys. The reason I say most guys is I haven't really had that many female friends so I have not been able to observe this in their lives, but I think it occurrs in their lives too.
Now to my questions:

1. Does this model of pos and neg energy flow pertain to your life?
2. Do you think this model applies to ALL human beings?

What I mean by asking "How much greener is the grass on the "other" side?" is that if this model does apply to HBs than what kind of negative things happen in their lives(besides the obvious, such as death in the family)? I mean I will say that the most negative experience of my life was finding out my ex was cheating on me and deciding to break up with her. That whole experience haunts me till this day because like Prodigy said he does in Smirks' "Where you at?" post, I still think about her way too much and still care about the bitch. Now this leads me to question number 3:

3. If attractive women can get whatever they want just by finding a guy that will give it to them, money, clothes, car, house, relationship, sex, than what hardships do they have? It seems to me this model cannot apply to them, and that kind of makes me have negative feelings towards HBs as a collective group.

Yes, it applies - it's what makes humans ... human.

Life isn't just about getting a guy or the girl. (and even if it were, it's actually not that easy to find a guy who will give them everything they want, just as it's not easy to find a girl who gives us everything.)

I posted something in the lair I'm mainly a part of to someone who also said he was facing negative feelings towards chicks, although for different reasons: Go out for a few weekends and stop gaming. Talk to girls, but try to sincerely find their story. Everyone has a story.

And finally, those negative feelings will actually be counter-productive to your game.

You sure? Scientifically speaking...we're essentially here to procreate and continue the race. Everything else is, in some indirect way, a pro or con towards that goal.

Dunno man. There's a difference between procreating to continue the race and procreating to spread your genes (as opposed to the genes of your race) - and I don't think that debate has been settled. Although I'm not an evolutionary biologist, so I may be mistaken.

And also, there is some emphasis on "a", which is why I had the qualifier in parentheses.

UL, to answer your question, everyone goes through these series of emotions. some days youre happy, some days your sad. people's emotions are affected by numerous things.

even if an HB gets EVERYTHING she wants, there will be times when shes unhappy.even if she gets everything she wants, she may lack something emotional, for example...

1. That model definitely applies to my life. 2008 was probably the toughest year I have ever been through. I got divorced from a girl I had been with since high school(15years together). Then when things were just starting to look up I crashed my motorcycle at 100mph and almost didn't walk away. My college years were pretty damn good to me tho and my child hood was the best ever. So I'll take one bad year with 30 some good ones! I'm not complaining, in fact I've been very fortunate. There is always somebody out there who has it worse than you do. ;-)

My racing career has been full of ups and downs. There have been years where we finished in the top 5 every night. Other times it seemed all we could do is crash or blow up a motor.

Throughout my entire life, my dad has been involved in all sorts of businesses(cattle, farming, parts stores, rental houses, rebulder cars, stock market, commercial property, etc). I've seen years where he made so much money he didn't know what to do with and other years where he was working 14hour days and barely getting the bills paid.

2. This definitely applies to all human beings.....including animals and even famous people(pro athletes, movie stars)! I've learned that the the more positive I try to be, the more positive things comes my way. Positive thoughts breed positive results.

Sometimes I think people look at celebrities and think they have no problems and life is a walk in the park. Take a look at Michael Jackson. In his prime he was in lots of tv commercials, videos, everybody was trying to dress like him, moon walk like him. Michael was making millions and real upbeat. For whatever reason this "positive energy" faded away and led to him abusing prescription drugs, and allegations of child abuse. Even tho he lived in a big fancy house, he died millions of dollars in debt. He was selling off personal property just to service the debt.

Farrah Fawcett who died last week was no different. She had peaks and valleys in her life. She graced the pages of Playboy, was an angel in Charlies Angels, had the #1 selling pin-up poster of all time, she was an international sex symbol of the late 70's to early 80's.

However there was a flipside to all the greatness. Her son had alcohol/drug problems and went to prison while she was in the hospital with cancer. Her sister died of cancer. Farrah went through a divorce after being married to Lee Majors for several years. Just last week we lost her to a 3 year battle with cancer.

3. I think my example of Farrah Fawcett pretty much answered that one for ya! ;-)
She was most likely before your time but here's a look into her life:

For me, the peaks and valleys tend to get stronger with winter time and summer. Something about the overcast skies and dreary conditions of winter just make me want to stay indoors and get a girlfriend. When summer rolls around, I'm on top of my world.
