Firewater closing! All you can Drink Party 3-31

Postby Guest » Tue Mar 31, 2009 12:20 am

I just got word that Firewater in Dallas is closing...and the farewell party/All You Can Drink party is Tuesday night (3-31) I'm waiting for specifics and absolute confirmation now...but I thought I'd let you bar rats know! I can't make it, but if I could I definitely would.

that's too bad. That was a good music venue except their prices were out of line for a live music venue/crowd..

that's pretty sudden, i had planned on going there friday night to see some bands that were promoting as recently as this weekend on MS.

I've never been there when there wasn't a band so I can't tell ya what kind of music they play exactly. The crowd is usually late 20's, early 30's. A little like Sherlocks crowd and about the same tunes.

Don't fall in the pond!

That is quite interesting.

Man could you imagine a set up like that in Addison. Except a bigger inside.

I bet that would be the main draw in Addison.

It is odd seeing the place shut down. You never know exactly what is going on. New ownership? Remodel? Just this wacked out economy shuttering the doors of many places.

The tallest building in Boston sold today for 660 Million. Half the price it sold about 2 years ago. Craziness. Nothing surprises me now.
