don't you always want to show people a busy lifestyle? like instead of saying you aren't going to do anything, you could have said something like hang out in uptown or wherever.

yeah
I actually realised that was a mistake right after I sent that text
:/
but as I was clearing my mind just now I realised something.
Fuck this girl.
Tomorrow I am going balls deep into the situation and being forward.
New and improved game plan:
Text her at about noonish "Hey Parker! I have a question for you!"
She'll text something along the lines of "ok..."
I'll text "Are you an adventurous person that loves to have a good time?!?"
She'll text "Yes"
I'll text "Wal Mart. Be there in 15 minutes."
Booya!!!!!!!
Here I can see her doing one of four things:
1) She'll text "Ok!" or something like that and be there
2) She'll text "Ok!" or something like that and she won't be there and I will text her 30 min later asking if she is coming and she probably won't respond and I'll never text the bitch again
3) She'll text "I can't :( I've got hw, work, to douche, or any other of the millions of things chicks do." Then I will reply saying "I thought you said you were fun and adventurous? haha" Then she will either respond or not respond. It does not matter either way
Or
4) I won't get a response and I will never text the bitch again

Sound good Dallaslair?

Dont state, that you do, its like asking for permission,

"I have a question for ya"..

*crickets chirp*

Then what do you do?

Just ask it, going balls deep in it right now is not advisable as, from what youve posted, there doesnt seem to be alot of attraction, at least not enough to go head first into.

I'm glad to see you are thinking about her possible responses, this is social calibration/framing. Get used to it.

Stop going conversational so fast. Youre asking really deep questions and requesting to much.

"Hey hoebag" is a better start than "Hey Parker I have a question for you.." (not saying you should use it..)

Stop using names, its understood you know here name, instead make up a name and assign it to her now, call her a different name, "Hey Sunshine, I have a question for you."

When trying to cold read don't ask questions, make statements.

"Are you adventurous."
"no."

Now what?

vs.

I can tell you this story you do random shit like me. (then tell a story.) (also hard to do with text)

even that above you shouldn't be doing yet because you don't know her enough. so you are trying to cold read into a deeper connection and she is trying to keep it light n fluffy.

Play a little game, try and intentionally make your response SHORTER than what she responded with.

One I used to do alot back in the day was

Me: Do you have a dog?"
Her: yes, no, I have a vag...
Me: (ignore) and wait for the "Why?" text)
Her: Why?
Me: (ignore) for about 30 minutes. ) then send, "Why what?"

The story goes, "I saw somebody that kinda looked like you, at least I think it was a girl, walking this massive great dane. the dog wasn't trained or anything but it took off after a cat and was dragging the poor he/she around. Funniest thing I've seen today, hands down."

(Don't tell it via text)

Instead if she responds with "You asked if I had a dog, why?

Tell her, "oh yeah, funny story call me and ill tell you right quick but then you have to go cause you're super swamped."

I think you're thinking through and making too much of a big deal about a girl that you have never even met.

I think hes making a big deal over why he can't text, the girl just adds the value for him to be able to text (which he can't) thus he is aggravated.

Replace the girl with just a friend and i bet he'd do fine texting.

Over text, there are a lot of things that are hugely different than in person (duh) but one of them is the back and forth rhythm, like in person you can say "guess what?" and the other person is pretty much guaranteed to say "what?". Or for another example, you can say "blah blah, you know what I mean?" and the other person will generally say yeah, or nonverbally agree. But over text you can't depend on those sort of "sure thing" responses. Especially if she's ADD, then she has a choice of texting back, or, oh cool look at that shiny thing over there..

As for your text exchange last night, I really think she was wanting you to have something going on. She was bored and was probably shopping for something interesting later. When you said "what's up?" and she said "about to get off work" that's a huge indicator the reason she texted you in the first place was to find something to do after work. It's one of those ways of asking a question with a statement, except additionally encoded in girl-language. You didn't suggest anything, so she had to ask explicitly, "What are you doing tonight?" When you said nothing, she went to look elsewhere for something interesting. She's on a mission. She wants you to have something cool to do, maybe you're going to a party she and her friends can come to also. She definitely doesn't want to have to entertain you, so asking what she is doing is going to flop. She basically already told you in encoded girl-language "nothing, but I'm looking for something cool."

The good news is she doesn't dislike you or have anything against you. She was looking for Mr. Right Now. You weren't it. It doesn't mean she won't ask in the future. The more you indicate you usually have fun stuff going on, the more likely she will ask to tag along in the future.
