Has anyone ever noticed...

Postby Guest » Mon Feb 23, 2009 10:31 am

This is kind of random, but has anyone ever noticed that if a girl likes you she will blatantly lie to you and tell you what you want to hear so she can be with you?
For instance, I was talking to this girl once and she liked me, I told her I would never date a red headed girl and she said "yeah, red heads are disgusting". Then a month later her best friend tells me that the girl has always had a thing for red heads! I was like wtf???
I am wondering if this is a common trait among girls or if it is just coincidence that it happened to me on several accounts.

Girl: I'm really looking for a relationship right now. Are you?
Me: I'm actually just looking for some fun right now, not a relationship. If that's cool with you we can chill.
Girl: omg, I just got out of a bad breakup. I'm not looking for anything serious right now, just to have some fun.

This is almost verbatim. It's like she literally forgot what she said 5 seconds earlier. Later I find out she had a boyfriend at the time. wtf. Chicks are messed up...

Women will lie BIG TIME to hook a man. She'll fake her interest in sex, fake orgasms, fake her interest in the things that he likes, etc. Over time, they reclaim all of these sacrifices through incrementalism. They slowly take back what they so quickly gave to you until one day you wake up and see how much has changed, and how little she is like the way she was in the beginning.

This is not always true. Just as many lame guys will lie, decieve, and try to manipulate a girl into liking/sleeping with them because they are not confident that the truth is sufficent to get the girl, such is also the case with many girls.

Many girls claim this, but for some of them it is actually true. They are confident enough to be who they really are. And view themselves as high enough value to not have to lie.

But it is a great feeling when you know a girl has a boyfriend and she is doing everything she possibly can to present herself as single...or other such blantent lies..

I actually wouldn't quite like that experience, and it's probably because I have personally been on the raw end of the deal.
It's solely my personal preference but I am not going to steal a girl from another man.
There's too many fish in the sea to steal one from another man.
I have also noticed that most girls, and guys too, would say honesty is one of the most important things in a relationship yet girls will still lie at the begining.
I think the idea is they jump through hoops for you now, so you will jump later.

I get really fucking annoyed when peole in the community suggest that it is morally wrong to break up a couple (not you, UL, just in general). If I care about the girl enough to actually want to date her, then I want her to be happy--and in many cases a girl would be happier with me than the guy she is currently dating--such is certainly the case with the girl I am currently intersted in.

How pathetic would it be if I let someone I could potentially LOVE endure a life without me, especially if she is with a guy that doesn't make her truely happy. And for what do I sacrafice her happiness for? A poorly-thoughtout code of moral behavior? A lot of guys in the community don't truely feel they would make a better boyfriend than the guy a girl they like is currently with...to be honest, in some situations I don't (WF is a bit of an ass...)

And why the hell should I care about the jackass who is dating her unless he is a friend, or someone who's happiness I value. Of course I wouldn't try to steal a friend's gf, but some random AFC...sure.... Hell, I might be doing the guy a favor. I was crushed when my fiancee left me for a douchebag, but now we're both happier. Those events set me on a course of self-improvement that made me the person I am today. Sometimes (often) the best thing for a bad relationship is for it to end.

Trust is more important than honesty. If you have realistic expecations, understand the nature of women, and explain to them that you do not want to put unrealistic expectations on you, they won't have a reason to lie to you......The best way to have a trusting relationship is to remove the motivation for your parnter to lie. How much more will the girl appericate you if you are the one guy she doesn't have to hide shit from???

And yes, if I end up with the girl of my dreams, Ill jump though hoops for her. If she makes me happy, she deserves my efforts to make her happy.

WF: It is all about personal opinion. I cannot convince you or anyone else why they should not take another mans gf, nor can you convince me that I should. As of now, I just cannot see myself ever doing it. There could very well be an experience that changes my mind on the subject, but so far no girl is worth that to me.
As for jumping through hoops to get a girl, I am not going toi try super hard for one specific girl.
Pre-community, I would have, and did on several occasions.
Obviously it didn't work out because of my pre-community ignorance.
Now I know that no one girl is worth any extreme effort.
There are many girls out there with that have the specific personality traits and physical characteristics that please me.

If you take another guy's girlfriend, just be prepared for the consequences. Not saying its wrong or right but when it has happened to me (when the guy knew the girl was with somebody), I have fucked the guy's life up
