Anyone use a WII for gaming chicks?

Postby Suave » Thu May 03, 2007 4:17 pm

So I been thinking that getting a Nintendo Wii would be a good idea to help with gaming chicks.

Not that I ever played one yet, but I hear the Wii is real fun, especially since the controllers are interactive.

I think this would be a good way to get the girls to come back to your place, and they would have fun while at your house. DHV for you! You can compete with each other and make bets for hugs, kiss, etc...

I know someone on here has a Wii so tell me your opinion on this. Does anyone find that the Wii helps with this?

I have been thinking about this. I think inviting an HB over to play with your Wii might not be the best idea. I mean, "hey you wanna come over and play with my Wii?" There is a subcommunication there that might not go over well (or it might). I do think that having Wii games like Wii Sports would be fun once they were over though. Having Guitar Hero would be a great party game too.

Fun interactive games is a great social mechanism. I think you should stay away from Madden at a party though. I have seen it kill a party before.

I think it's good if you have a steady girlfriend or if people congregate at your place. But if you're pulling a girl from a bar or on a day2, you don't want her getting addicted to Zelda while you're trying to move her into the bedroom.

I have an Xbox 360 with an HD-DVD drive. The Xbox 360 is also a media center extender if you have a media center PC. So it plays movies (HD and DVD) and music, plus you can download TV shows and movies to the hard drive. You can also download old school games like Ms. Pac Man, which would be better than having a girl start a marathon game of Oblivion.

I also agree with Neuro about the subcommunication. If you have a Wii at your place and she wants to play, then that's cool. But inviting her over your place to play video games doesn't sound sexy. But, then again, by the C3/S1 phase, almost any excuse to get her near the seduction location is a good one.

I think this is a good idea. Wiis are super fun anyway. Invinting a girl to your place to play Wii isn't sleezy at all. Just don't phrase it like this
"hey you wanna come over and play with my Wii?"

It is a great excuse for the girl to come over. Plus the kind of girls I like, energetic, enthusiastic and fun would totally dig playing Wii sports and we would have a ball.

Good thinking

I'd say for the purposes of PU any video games that are fun and active:

Dance Dance Revolution (Brad P. used to pull targets to his hotel room with it)
Guitar Hero (lots of hot chicks like this game now)
Wii Sports (anything fun that gets them moving around actively)
Karaoke games

dance dance is a good game to brag about playing, at least in my experiences, especially if youre good.

however, telling a HB10 or 7 for that matter to "Come play with my Wii." is a little creepy, AND nerdy. day 2 or after is when the Wii talk should come up. And it should come up after you have determined she likes games, enjoys playing them, AND doesnt think of the people whom play them as nerdy.

The best one though is still Dance Dance.

Maybe we could sarge a Gameworks, lol. Actually, I went up to the one at Grapevine Mills several weeks ago and saw a couple of hotties. Smiled at one of them and got a smile in return but I didn't say anything because I still had pretty bad AA at the time.
