A proverbial question

When you look at another person and think to yourself "This person is good at framing." Do you think you could ever trust or view that person the same way, you once viewed them, before you found out they were good at framing?

I did until you said that ;) Now I don't trust you at all :)

Seriously tho I did a timeshare presentation thing this weekend to get the free prize for it... it's amazing the stuff you see them doing once you know about framing and a lot of the other pua techniques. I don't think knowing it so much causes a lack of trust as when you realize the other person is trying to set the frame up... I think the real question is knowing you are good at framing would you resist using it casually on people you consider friends rather than business or pua social settings :) would you only use that 'power' wisely? ;)

I view them the same.

The reason being I feel that I am smart enough to smell out a frame being set. So while they are framing I can be one step ahead and know where they are going.

This will prolly get edited or deleted but i dont give a rats ass anyway. Trust is built and earned. Regardless of framing. I trust many people who have weak frames. I respect you as a PUA and i know you are good at framing, but as a person you have absolutly zero respect or creditability with me due to your actions. Not going to air out dirty laundry as this is not the place or time. Are you still good at framing yes, did i respect you before i knew that yes, did i respect you afterwards yes. Do i respect you now NO...hope that helps

I understand. You have to get that off your chest. Asa lama lakim.

I was watching a commercial on extra auto insurance, and I was inclined to call to see what they had to offer. I was talking to a phone representative and I realized, I could never buy anything over the phone. The framing these people use is extraordinary.

The key to a really good frame is how early it's implemented. It's covert, it's simple.

I've known this for quite a while, yet I've never really implemented (knowingly) it's "technology", for lack of a better word. Can I see the future? No. Can I speculate as to what the future holds? Yes. How often will I be right? Depending on skill, I can get pretty accurate. How do you read people, how do they typically respond? What actions do you know they respond with? From the very beginning

Knowing that, I find it funny. I watch, and listen, and sometimes, like to mess with them.
Sales tactic #1: If I could get the down payment lower and lower the payments, would you do this?

He knows he can, now you know he can, why say yes? Why give away your power?

"It certainly wouldn't hurt my chances of getting it any."

Especially in sales.

So in a sense, its like you are aware, but yet you give it away freely. Has it lost value to you now?
Do you no longer care about it now that you have unlocked its power?

I feel it depends on how well you know a person or have mutual respect. Would I think you would ever try an pull some manipulative shit on me? No. A salesman. Yes... I also can see sales a mile away as I have sold eveything from tanning memberships to my body on Hairy Hies on most Fridays.. Lol. I would still trust the person in direct proportion o how close we were.....

It comes down to intentions of the frame manipulation. If I sense malicious intent, fuck you. If I can't see any harm of what's being done...I'll either work with the frame you're setting or work around it for my own personal needs/gain. There are good and bad ways of framing people...if you know the distinction, you shouldn't have trust issues wiht people.
