Advice needed

Postby Guest » Fri Oct 17, 2008 9:48 am

Alright! I need some advice from my fellow brethren. I'm going to a big formal event dinner and dancing kind of thing with a long time one-itis of mine. Over the past two months or so we haven't really done much with each other, just some talking. I think we may ave hung out for a few hours one night a few weeks ago, but that's the extent of it besides talking online and such when we have the time. We've been on the threshold of "just friends" and "dating" for a crazy long time and I'm hoping this will be a really good night to just plow through that and seal the deal. Not entirely sure what the best way to go about that is though, haha. The fact that we've known each other for quite awhile, I would assume that means I need some different game than the game I would use on random girls I meet right? Advice/opinions much appreciated gentlemen!

In my experience, You should use the bff vibe to your advantage! There should be no fear of using kino so make sure youre all over that. lead her by the hand, arm over the shoulder as you walk and tell stories. Ask about her sex life(casually) "are you seeing mr. right yet? any body interesting?" then OPENLY talk about yours! This is important cause it will distract her from thinking about the underlying issue. run a casual jealousy plotline but make sure you spend the adequate amount of time with her. if she's having the time of her life pulling her back to your pad should be a breeze, but once youre there dont pussyfoot around too long. That's the best thing you can do. If your having trouble beginning the sexual escalation then jus offer to let her sleep in your bed. then when your all cuddled up after a minute or two turn her towards you and kiss her. I've gotten 90% of my closes this way. You've got comfort working in your favor.... Or try the afcadam approch if your frame is strong enough and verbally break rapport. If your sly enough you can throw in some NLP. i.e: You know we have jus had such an incredibly comfortable vibe for soo long. Everytime we hang out we have an overwhelmingly good time, and It's jus becoming harder and harder to continue jus being your friend. I find you to be an incredibly attractive woman and it's growing increasingly harder to keep my hands off of you..." thats a handy little number too!

good luck, Guy!

Thanks Solace! I never considered using the "best friends" thing to my advantage, always thought it was more against me, haha.

One of the most important things you need to do to stay out of "friends zone" is you HAVE to take it sexual. Your conversation has to go that way. She needs to know you see her in a sexual way, and not just as a friend. I agree with Solace approach for the night, Take the lead, and kino.

some other advice...

use the formal event to DHV...

mingle around, be the leader at your table during dinner...ie. be the guy that gets everyone talking..brings people into the conversation, leads...introduce yourself to people. Throughout the night lead her sometimes...grab her hand and lead her out onto dance floor, or after dancing, grab her hand and lead her to the bar to grab a drink....but do it in a fun casual way... "hey let's go grab a drink!" sense..

If it's HER event where she's going to know more people, make sure you aren't led around all evening and the guy that just gets introduced and then stands there while she and the other people chat...those kind of situations it's important to occasionally break off and mingle, and to be especially social.

We'll both be on equal footing at the event, neither of us is going to know anywhere there most likely. I'll definitely work on some DHV stuff for the table.

I think getting some good Kino in won't be too hard, especially since we'll be dancing together and all.

I think the only thing I'm going to really have to work at is blasting through those previous conceptions she's taken from the past and leading it to a different place, lol

Since this sounds like a date with a girl that you've known and liked for a while, I'll format my suggestions accordingly...

Excellent, then you have a great opportunity to show her your social skills.

Just as TopDog said, you're going to inherently DHV yourself almost all that you need to by making friends and having fun (remember you're having fun with her..).
Be careful not to overdo DHV's at the table...they should all be under the radar and implied.

Also, when you're making these new friends, set a frame with them that this girl....for all they know....is your girl.
This should be completely implied by your mannerisms and body language (not really by things that you say).

If you can set that frame in the room, she'll pick up on it...and she'll either go with the implication, or it will atleast bring the consideration up in her mind.
If you and her are having a good time, you can bet she'll anchor that frame well...and you've set things up perfectly for wherever you want to take it.

example:
Lets say you're introducing yourself to someone that neither of you know very well.
Make your own introduction first...then pull her over and introduce her.
This frames you as the leader, and (to the person you're meeting) her as someone they should know if they're going to know you.

If done right, they will just assume that you and her are together without you having told them.
To her, it implies that she should know the people you know, and you prove your sociability to her.

I suspect this will probably be the toughest part.
Blasting away an old frame, for me, has always been a tough thing to accomplish.

The best way I've found to do this is to make sure you don't hold yourself back by thoughts like "I never would have done something that before, and she might notice."
Don't worry about her noticing a change....just make the change, and stick to the idea of having a good time.
