I've picked up so much from just coming out and hanging with people better than I.
I still have ALOT to get better at....but I can definitely say that I have progressed a TON in the past several months after just having surrounded my self with some of the best.
I recommend you do the same (which it seems you are trying to do, having talked to you on the boards/txt the past couple of days.....which is good.)

Truth is though, I haven't seen you out since the Austin trip, and I'd consider myself to be fairly active in the community these days (albeit, mostly on the weekends and mainly with the Dallas/Addison crew).
What happened Sat night? I told you where we were at, but I never heard back from you?
You sure missed a hilarious night of me failing miserably at picking girls up without a voice :)

On the subject of 'life getting in the way'....I'd like to address that statement to everyone who's ever used it.

I don't know everyone on this board, so I can't say this for 100% fact....but I would venture say that I am probably one of the busiest people you'll get to know here.

I work a little less than 40 hours a week, go to school full time (including a senior engineering design project that takes up quite a bit of time out of school), go on dates somewhat frequently now, manage a social life with my friends in Denton, AND manage a fairly active social life with guys in the community on the weekends.

So, as far as I'm concerned, more times than not 'life is too busy' is just an excuse. It's all about time-management and will power.
Most of the community events you'll find here happen at night....what could possibly be happening at night outside of a date or socializing with friends?
If you work nights...well that's somewhat understandable....but even still, I'm betting its not 7 nights a week.

Granted, I don't really sleep much and I'm young (and ridiculously good looking)....but my point is this: If you want it bad enough...you can do it.
I'm proof of that...and, in all seriousness, I hope you can prove that to yourself as well.

SO, all that said...I'll see you this weekend bro.
Not 100% on whether I'm going to make Friday night as of right now....but I'll be out Saturday for damn sure; And knowing most of the guys that'll be there, I know its gunna be one BADASS night.

I used to believe exactly the same thing but have come to the realization that if you're hanging out with guys you consider to be friends then this dynamic tends to disappear. The friends become the priority instead of the Game and women can absolutely sense this...

they can definitely sense it. for one, the guy who actually has friends and looks like he is enjoying himself at the bar as opposed to being 'on the prowl' and looking for something to open inherently has higher value. women totally can pick out who the "sharks" are at the bar, hovering around, looking for something to score.

also when you are in your own world having a good time you are not 'scoping' out girls, hence coming across as needy/chasing and lowering your value.

the best dynamic i think is to come with friends, a mixed group is even better but all guys is good too, and EVERY NOW AND THEN break away by yourself and hit up a set on the sly. there's almost no 'creep out' factor this way if your game is solid, and you have social proof. the other thing you can do is open by proximity...if some girl is right next to your group you can open her. then your friends raise your value because you have more people than she does and hence you are cooler than she is.

I agree with grimm.

Go with your friends. Build your energy. Improve your state. Get in your vibe. Then go on 'walkabouts.' Disappear from the group, be subtle, then come back around.

I agree with grimm...I like having some friends at the bar ....but I usually approach alone....I've never really got into using a wingman for the actually pickup. If you get shotdown it's always nice to have some friends to go back to talk to so you don't stand there and feel like a loser.

bull run said it and it resonates with my bull-shit, childish game, "indifference is the difference."

Sometimes you just have to say and do fucked up shit in public to make people laugh. I hated gaming until about 3 months into it, then I hit another mile-stone in Chicago back in August. Now that I'm in Austin, I don't know what the fuck is going on, but holy shit I'm out of control.

Last week I opened a set and it just went to shit and I totally didn't care, so I told her that "excuse me, I have to make chili out of children now." Then she asked if I wanted her #...and I asked if she wanted to buy me a drink first to show her commitment to my body, and then I gamed her hotter friend... On thursday I was walking out of the bar and a woman insisted that I let her drive me home, obviously something changed in my life.

I also really like to start my nightly warm-up by opening at least 3-sets with insane garbage. I'm talking about levels of insanity about shit only LSD can induce (and I think that's acceptable in Austin). If you can say the most fucked up insane shit to a girl, but be so sincere that they believe it and question why they don't understand, then you're really having fun and can always sell cars if you're in a pinch.

You say AA is not the problem...you're talking to them of course, but are you putting yourself in a position with risk?
Are you demonstratingr how motherfucking bad ass you are?
Are you demonstrating that you understand her?
I you demonstrating that women want you, and for a moment she can have a chance?

Fuck this baby-steps bullshit. Get on a plane, go to another city, walk into bars and grocery stores alone, and talk to every girl you see. Then, get back on the plane and go home. Its worth every cent.
