As far as personal experience goes, mine happened when I was married with my wife and a mutual friend of ours. My wife had hinted around that she might be interested. Not to be a dick, but that's not at all freaky. Not even close.

In my experience, you simply put the idea in their head then let them set it up. IMO, threesomes are driven by the girl you're with. So, let her know you want to do it and she'll more than likely find someone to do it with.
