Maybe just make an exception for this weekend. You will be on vacation having fun! So drinking is probably allowed. Then when you get back in town you can apply the no drinking rule.

If we leave around 7:30pm to 8pm like Acuity said, I am definitely in. So are we gettin a motel which is cheaper in Austin area or gettin a hotel in downtown regardless the price? I am down for either as long as price isn't too bad. Good thing about gettin hotel in downtown area is that we don't have to drive at night to bars and 6th street.
I have to tell yall this tho... 22nd to 24th is gonna be busy as fuck because it is when UT freshmen are allowed to move in. 22nd is the first day that they can move in and you sure can expect some hardcore traffic and packed motels and etc. So we gotta get this shit started on. Austin girls are easier than Dallas girls coz I think they are more liberal since they live in most liberal city in texas. They are more relaxed.
It will be better if we leave late since freshman will be moving in. My sister and my parents are going to Austin on 22nd, too coz my sister is goin to UT this year. We need reserve hotel spots as soon as possible since we might already be late.

I know freshmen girls can't go to bars unless they have fake id. However, u gotta know there are lots new grad school students who is moving into UT and transfer students. I will be reserving one room by tomorrow night. I am looking around at downtown because...
I don't want someone to have to worry about driving when they have been drinking. And two because if we have to take a taxi from a few miles away you might as well add at a minimum 20 bucks a night.
From what I have seen so far it is about 150++ a night. Most people have said they are ok with about 30 a night. So as far as I can see right now I might have to chip in a little extra for my room. I'm here on vacation and don't want to worry about little shit like who is driving. That is just annoying and worth the little extra I will have to pay. It will allow us to have a better time.
I have only gotten 3 people who have said they are 100% going. That is why I am only booking one room right now. I know these guys and I know they aren't going to back out at the last second screwing me over on the booking charges.
I will post up the hotel when I figure out which one it is. I am thinking the Radisson right now because they have Free Breakfast and it looks really close(within walking distance) to 6th street.

Excellence. If all else fails I can crash with some friends at UT. Hell I'll sleep anywhere.
One room should be fine. Also there is lots of public transportation to and from downtown so it won't be that hard to get around even while slightly drunk.
I've counted around 6-7 that are certainly in. Two cars would be good.
