I don't what your level of experience at cooking is... so I am assuming you are a chode at cooking.
I personally always get Ribeyes at 1 1/2 thick from Costco.
I season it with a seasalt pepper steak seasoning brought off the shelf. Slow cook on a Propane Grill on the lowest setting at approx. 350-400 degree for 5-6 min each side.
I also grill sliced Red Potatoes wrapped in foiled seasoned with the same Steak seasoning and lots of butter... everything wrapped in foil and set to med setting from the very beginning and ready when the steaks are ready. The potatoes should be soft and not crunchy.
Serve with Red Wine and Cheesecake from the Cheesecake factory for dessert.
The taste is a winner, but you can also add eye appeal like in the restaurant. Place cheesecake on clean plate. Add raspberry and strawberries... the amount is your call... fewer the better... add chocolate syrup in slow flo and scribble like a work of art.
This dinner is better tasting than steaks from Hoffbrous Steakhouse.
The Steak is approx $25 to $32 at $6.99 per pound. It will melt in their mouth.
I would even stir fry some sliced mushrooms in butter to serve along with the steaks.
I would also cut the steaks in half (Keep the thickness) before grilling, but instead of a palm size steak.. you would have something approx. 3"x3"
Girls would not finish such a big piece of steak... if they call they can also get another piece.
Forgot the Salad.
I would use spinach instead of Lettuce and cherry tomatoes and whatever else you personally like.
