Here's to the best group of guys EVER -- farewell for a while

Well this really sucks, but I have to take some time off the site for a while and the PUA scene to focus on my personal life (finances and other stuff). Some stuff came to a head today and I just can't take the time I've been spending on this lately away from the other stuff anymore even though I'd much rather be practicing. I am hoping I can take care of my shit and be back around the end of summer. I'll be in tons better physical shape then as well so that'll give me a lot more confidence in it as well.

I made HUGE fucking strides for myself personally just from my limited time being on this site. SERIOUSLY. Before this I was total AFC -- the nice, shy guy who didn't know shit about picking up women and would never approach one out in public he didn't know and wasn't very social. I have started being a ton more social, have a ton more confidence, and have done things I never would have dreamed of just a couple of months ago. I have come very close to getting over my approach anxiety. I can approach women with confidence now and without being nervous. I can start conversations and even run a little game. I never practiced any of this stuff before a week ago when I went to red river the first time with you guys. I was total afc that night and approached NO ONE. Two days later I approached several women. Two days later I approached the majority of a mixed group of over 50 people. Two days later (tonight) I not only approached very attractive women, but ran game (albeit limited) on them. HUGE fucking strides, and I don't think I would have done it without you guys who've advised me in the forums and encouraged me to get outside of my head.

This group of guys is the fucking greatest group of guys as a collective group I think I've ever met. They're all ready to share and give of themselves to help the other guys out. They're there to help you practice and get good. They're there to be your friend if you need it. I LOVE YOU GUYS (in a totally manly non-gay way). I'd recommend this group to anyone in my position. I can't wait to roll with those of you I already did again and with those of you I haven't in the future.

For those of you reading and lurking -- this shit works if you work it (hey like AA). Don't give up, be the mother fuckin' man and practice til you get good. When I come back in a few months I am gonna be ballin', large and in charge. I can't wait to hang out with you guys again.

Eric -- You are gonna be fantastic at this in a few months -- you are a cool dude.
Angel -- Damn I can't even imagine how good you're gonna be in a while and you're only 18.
Picture Perfect -- You are the mother fuckin' man and the social, crazy ass balls out mother fucker I strive to be in the future
Bull run - You are hilarious and the first guy I met here -- I want to roll with you someday too
Finesse - You are a smooth motherfucker and a cool dude
Tribulus - You got me to approach and I had a blast with you and look forward to kicking it with you in FW again sometime
Smirks -- I never got to meet you but you seem pretty damn cool to me
OKC boys - I wanna roll with you in OKC someday
Murad -- Sorry we didn't get to go to 6th to roll together this weekend -- You were the first guy who really challenged me in person to get past myself -- look forward to showing you what i've learned since then next time
Fenix - It was great meeting you and hanging out tonight
Piranha -- Really identified with your story -- you're gonna be great at this too

If I left anyone out sorry but it's late and I can't sleep due to this stress and shit. No sleep for me tonight... in an hour it's time to work the fuck out to achieve my goals. Some books recommended by different PUA sites I just ordered from amazon just came in (not PUA stuff but inner game stuff) -- I am gonna use this time to see if they can help me get more insight on coming out of my shell. If I can do that more fully I will be an unstoppable force when I return.

Everyone who gave me their phone # I've got them saved in my cell and you can expect me to hit you up when I'm back to be going out regularly.

I'm gonna still check in every once in a while to see what you crazy dudes are up to :) But I all to frequently spend way too much time checking the forums for new posts, etc and I need to devote that time to other stuff at the moment. So yeah I'll be still somewhat keeping an ear to the community as well, just more in lurking mode :)

Sorry to hear that you've got to take care of your business outside of PU. By doing so I can tell that you, unlike a lot of us, understand what truly is most important. That is your LIFE. PU is just a hobby, one with great benefits (i.e. self-confidence, social saavy, pussy, etc). It is not a lifestyle, just an enhancer.

Anyone that knows me and my take on PU knows that I speak of value a lot. The more value you have as a man the more attractive you will to everyone. What do I mean by value? Simple. You have characteristics, traits, experiences, a personality, etc. that people want to be exposed to. They want to buy you by being with you. Make sense? Sounds to me like you're going to go out and make sure you don't loose value and, hopefully, create more value. Come back as a more valuable man, and you'll come back as a better PUA.
