Pickup 101: Part Deux

Postby Guest » Mon Jun 02, 2008 12:56 pm

Thanks to all who made it out last night. Hopefully it was very informative and usefull for you. For the guys who coudlnt make it....you blow goats. Just kidding (kinda)

There will be classes in the future, and likely a more advanced class (PU102?). I'm setting up a thread here, to see what topics and/or speakers people want.

Topics I'd like to see for 102:

* more of finesse's framing
* escalation and kino
* tips on getting a girl in isolation and handling large / mixed sets
* reading body language and IOIs/IODs

I think it'd also be good to have a specific event set up for afterwards where we can go in the field, practice, and get tips/reviews from some of the more experienced guys in the group

Come out this Friday night if you want some infield guidance. Most of the guys have no problem helping others out. Grab someone and say come watch me run this set. I want pointers. Pretty much everyone I know will be more than happy to help.

I definitely would but going to Austin and going to meet up with some of the guys in the Austin community at 6th street :) I'm for sure going to be hitting some of you guys up for help in future get togethers tho.

Text+Call game...
Finesse's jedi framing stuff...
Also I don't know about others but I'm interested in the cocky, funny, and direct style that (I think) Bull Run and PicturePerfect others seem to use, a section on that stuff would be cool.
Day game??
Soloing large sets? Going out without a wing in general?

Just throwing stuff out there.

It's not direct style so much as it's running game alone.

I'd like more of Finesse's framing
