FR: Fun night out in downtown fort worth

A friend of mine wanted to go out in downtown fort worth so I decided to go and check it out. We met up and chatted for about an hour before hitting the clubs and I found that plus the energy drink I had helped put me in a good social mood.

We hit Fox and Hound first. It was still a bit early so the place wasn't packed, but my friend opened up an HB7 & 8 right after we got in and I helped chat the girls up. We rolled off after a few minutes and scoped out the rest of the place. Since it was early there weren't a lot of good groups to open up. We decided to hit another club and my friend told me to reopen the pair we talked to on the way in, which I did. Didn't number close them but had a nice chat then we headed down the street and hit the Library.

By the time we got there it was starting to hit the prime time and it was pretty crowded. I didn't really see much I was into there so we headed down the street to City Streets. City Streets was a pretty cool place. The dance club was way crowded and most of the folks were dancing but the 80s club and karaoke area were great spots. I opened a couple of sets, including an HB8 who was giving me some IOIs but she was hella drunk and ended up heading back to her table where a couple of beefy dudes were watching over her. Ended up seeing her later after we went back to the fox and hound but the big dudes were still hovering. Totally coulda closed that if I could have gotten her isolated but like I said she was toasted it wouldn't have been a huge challenge ;)

This may not be a thrills a minute report for you experienced guys out there, but I'm a total newb -- the other night at red river saloon was my first night out trying this and I didn't open one set... being an introverted person this was a total success for me because I wasn't really out there to close tonight but just to make some approaches and I think I did a pretty decent job for a newb. I wasn't all nervous or geeky, didn't mind blank or any of that. My goal before I left was that if I opened even 1 set it was a success since I didn't do jack the other night and I surpassed that. It gave me some added confidence approaching hot women I never would have cold approached before and not getting blown out, which makes me feel I may actually have some real success with this down the line as I get more experience. After my red river experience I was a bit down on myself but after tonight I feel like I can go and open up sets with attractive women. I'm still intimidated by large groups and sets with guys involved but with practice I'm sure I'll get past that. I also identified some areas I need to improve on... for one I've always been bad with remembering names but I'm going to have to get better at that the first set i had forgotten their names before the conversation was over. Second and this is very much because I was so focused on just maintaining a decent conversation but I need to work on having the presence to talk but also read reactions and body language the HB8 set I opened my friend said afterwards I was getting some strong IOIs from her and I picked up on one but I was so focused on chatting her up I didn't have the presence to pay attention to all the other stuff. And of course I'll have to work on upping my game as well tonight my focus was more on just opening up and talking rather than working them but I'm not just in it for chats. :)

Justice. I'm horrible with names as well, fucking horrible. Just now, I met a new girl working in the office...she's a hottie and I'll nail it. I literally met her 5 minutes ago and I already forgot her name.

But, you don't have to be good at names. Just give them a nickname. If you use the same 3 or 4 nicknames for all girls then you'll be able to remember what you called her. It's even better if you give her a nickname based on something on her person.

Also, I purposefully get names wrong. If a chick says her name is Allison I call her Amanda, Ashley, Ally McBeal, Alex, Anthony, etc.

You'd be surprised how well you begin remembering their name when you make a point of getting it wrong. Weird.

yes nicknames do help... my friend told me that he has to give everygirl he meets a nickname but usually he likes to call them buddy or gangsta... they get used to it so he really dont have to say their names alot... i dont use nicknames though...

about the IOIs thing, its different for different artist... i was reading Badboy Lifestyle and Badboy said that if a girl is talking back, its an IOI... if she wasn't intrested then she wouldn't have talked back... i know its not MM stuff but it makes sense... another PUA, i'm not sure if its Badboy, said always assume... assume the chick wants u, assume she is already intrested, assume that she will let u lay by the end of the night even if u haven't open her yet... that should help a little

Man I gotta up my game... cj your post just reminded me of a mistake i made the other night... i went in confidently and all, but i wasn't in that 'she wants me' mindset either.. and i know to put off those subcsoncious signals that's where I need to be... something to practice this week :)

Saturday was a huge step for me in overcoming approach anxiety... I am going to conquor it this weekend fo sho when Murad and I hit 6th street in Austin :) I've seen Murad working and I want to get to his level of socialization

personally i'd play that off and give her shit about coming onto me :) (well if i was mentally in pua mode and not afc mode that is ;) ) interested to hear what othes have to say tho

women are attracted to players.........so don't apologize or deny it. It's taken me a long to realize this. I used to always deny it vehemently when accused of being a player......I now realize that was a total mistake.

When a chick says that your a player/look lke a player tell her "yea, help me pick up chicks then we can find you a nice young man" with a huge shit eating grin on your face. I love that one...
