I'm not an expert on text like some of the other guys here, and I will sometimes say "Ok another time then" or something along those lines.

The "cool?" at the end of your text really stands out to me because you are asking for approval. You are basically asking permission to ASK her out in the future. Either that or you are asking her to agree in advance to meet, time and venue unspecified.

Definitely strike the approval-seeking.

That a good idea, the "call me real quick" I've done that a couple times, but non with consistency.
