Problems with --redacted-- -- Important!

Postby Guest » Wed Apr 23, 2008 10:53 am

Hey guys, as a few of you know, I have been having trouble with Mojo lately. Over some issues that I feel are very minor, he has removed my admin rights and is doing whatever he can to frustrate my efforts at managing the lair. He deleted my email account vector@--redacted-- for example.

This has been going on since February. I had hoped that it could be resolved, and I have probably been more patient than I should have been. Regardless, it is becoming apparent that he and I are probably not going to be able to coexist on --redacted-- much longer.

The full story (PDF) is here: http://www.dallaslair.org/request.php?1

Although Mojo is becoming increasingly hostile toward me, I would still like to organize events and also host discussion forums. But I need it to be on a website that is actually under my control. I'm putting together a new site, which should be finalized in the next day or so.

In case you're wondering, I have every intention of keeping it non-profit, and keeping out advertisements of all sorts. It will exist for the members, not to feed Mojo's ego.

I am with Vector on this issue. He has my full support.

I have seen much of the drama behind closed doors. I was a member of the I.C. when it was functioning last year, and personally know the people, and issues, involved in this.

I will be a full member of the new site, and will be active in it, just as I am here. I do know that with this open declaration, my account here may be, banned, deleted, or what have you. Just know that I personally am alive and sarging :)

I don't know a thing about what's going on here, but from the short time I hung with Vector, he seemed like a solid guy. And he gave me some pointers to help my game. I don't even know who the hell Mojo is...

so I guess I'll be seeing everyone at the new site.

I fully echo Ratio's, El Fenix's, and Lion's sentiments regarding Vector. Looks like I'll see you all on the other site if it comes to that.

I was involved in another discussion board that splintered into two different ones. Neither ended up being as good as the original. So I hope that doesn't happen here. For the benefit of the group I hope something can be worked out. No need to sink the ship.

There shouldn't really be any problems with splintering here. Mojo controls this board, Vector will control the other. This board will most likely die due to the fact that Mojo isn't even remotely close to being in the DFW area, nor is he active what so ever on the forum.

I think once the transition is made, you will not only see smooth operation on the new board, but the opening of new opportunities on it as well. Finally having full administrative AND creative control will make the possibilities endless for us.

I support this transitional project and especially Vector. He's ALWAYS had the best intentions for the Dallas Community.

There have been so many ideas that have been kicked around that would benefit the Dallas Community. The problem is, as it was before mentioned, a person or group should have control or at least the ability to organize the events and control the finances.

I was part of the IC as well, yet I was "kicked out" due to inactivity.

As I saw it at the time, it was still just "the kings court" in which the king still reigned. No point in me spending more time being part of something that wouldn't reap any benefits anytime soon other than being a part of a "super super secret organization"......

A sense of pride comes with ownership.

Vector you have my support in this, always have. Regardless of whether or not there is "a solid organization" to take over or not, as far as I see it, ownership transferred to Vector that day when Mojo "nominated" Vector for all positions. Scheduling conflicts happen, its a part of life.

Im sure Boyracer, TheRussian, Hunter Rose, and Rhody would have made it to the meeting if they could have. You can't base the validity of an organization off of one meeting.

See you at the new site fellas.
