Awesome, I have had a guru look that I have been wanting to put together for a while. (you know the look Eddie Murphy had in that one movie)

Don't overlook Target and Wal-Mart. I've picked up some great shirts there that I've gotten a ton of positive feedback on. If you're a poor college student like me but can't help spending money to improve your game, this is a good option.

Anybody have any luck with those ethnic stores? That sounded interesting too...

For now the website http://www.theammashop.org/jewelrygifts.html has some interesting pieces of jewelry that I like to wear. It has in the past helped move a conversation with a girl forward :).

Buffalo exchange

Postby El Fenix » Sun Mar 11, 2007 8:08 am

I havent seen Buffalo Exchange on Greenville here yet. It's second hand stuff, but the stuff you can find for the price is amaxing. I found a cool pair of british made motorcycle boots, and a Fender shirt. Retail for these items would be over $200. I paid $50 for the lot.

the "gay stores"

Postby El Fenix » Sun Mar 11, 2007 8:41 am

the "gay store" is at cedar cprings and throckmorton. its the center of that "area" Theres actually 3 or 4 stores there with cool stuff. I've gotten several things there. If you dont mind the male staff being extra friendly, its a cool spot.

Zara in the Galleria is a great store. Good prices, and Euro styling(read more fashionable, and tighter cut). Also, for those boot lovers out there, like me, K&G off 75 in richadrson, has an awesome boot and shoe selection. The gay stores at cedar spring and throckmorton also have some wicked boots in the $100 to $200 price range.

been there and didnt see shit worth buying, plus its not that cheap... now i will spend a lot of money if i find something worthwhile... recently i have completely rethought my stance on clothes... for years i wore baggy and oversized stuff but in the past few months i realized that more form fitting clothes always look much better unless you are morbidly obese

after highschool i never spent much money on clothes... and i still don't... the difference now is i dont buy stuff for the sake of buying it... in hindsight i have wasted so much money on cheap clothes that i did not like or wear often... buying just for the sake of buying because i needed it and things were cheap = total waste of money

if i found something i like i would totally be willing to spend... 200 bucks for a pair of jeans i wear all the time is so worth it... i have yet to do this because i really havent seen anything that expensive and i hate the mall... recently i have found good clothes cheap at ross... its not what you spend but how it looks on you... i got a pair of jeans at ross for 2.99 and i have gotten a bunch of compliments on them... i got a cool sweater there for 11 bucks, i got 2 very cool blazers at marshalls that look great for 12 bucks a piece... a pair of sneakers for 25 bucks at ross that have gotten compliments... plus ross is a great place if you like latinas... i have never been there and not seen at least a few latina 8's... i need to work on my day game to take advantage... check out that ross at coit & campbell in the target shopping center across from home depot

anyway, most of my good finds have been on the clearence rack at ross or marshalls... sounds funny i know but its true... prices are cheap and it can be totally hit or miss but you don't need to spend money to look good

i used to never want to try shit on... i bought shit off the rack based on how it looked on a hanger and if i didnt like it when i got home i didnt wear it, or i just wore it sometimes... things have changed

just an update, i googled the 2.99 blue cult jeans i got at ross and they go for 99 to over 200 bucks a pair, what a find!

ive gotten lots of compliments on them

I don't know if you guys subscribe to GQ but I think every PUA should. It goes together with peacocking and it's how we separtate ourselves from pretty boy tools and regular AFC's. A lot of the stuff in GQ is super expensive you can figure out what styles are in and you can always find comparable clothes in the magazine in the stores already listed.

Well GQ has a list of the best stores for men in America and the three stores they have for Dallas is Billy Reid in North Park, Forty Five Ten of McKinney Ave., and Stanley Korshak at the intersection of Cedar Springs and Maple.

If you take the Stacy Rd. exit off 75 in Allen there is an outlet center there that has a ton of men's stores there with a lot of great brands like Ralph Lauren and Brooks Brothers. You can really clean up on out of season clothes any time of the year. One unique store there is called Sarar that is from Europe that only has 6 stores in the US. Some of their clothes remind me of Bachrach, and they have an extensive selection for suits. The bad side is it's still pricey but you can catch some good deals.

I have a question for you guys, does anyone know of a good tailor here that they can recommend?

i was not impressed with the RL outlet in allen, didnt bother to go to the other stores there because it was so packed... BUT, RL and others make clothes specificly for the outlets, i saw the report on cnbc where they talked about this, the RL outlet clothes that arent legitimately past season are made with cheaper fabric in countries with cheaper labor than they usually use

dont know of a good tailor, id like to find a good drycleaner

Subzi Mundi in Richardson has some nice Indian style clothes. They're well ornamented to make you stick out a LOT. You can use it to your advantage or disadvantage with these.
