In fact, I really wouldn't recommend reading any PUA books besides "The Game." Reason being is that you can get too hung up on the idea that the ideas presented in these books are the only way to pick up a girl. What I suggest is meeting some of the community members in the area, and there are quite a few of us here. Seems like everytime I go out I have to AMOG some doucher who thinks hes a master PUA.
Meet some of the guys and find some friends in the community that naturally have a similar style to your own. Even if you don't know what your style is, you will understand what I'm talking about. You'll meet someone that you get along with very well, you approach in the same ways, you help each other out in set, ect. Learn from them and refine your own skills.
Like Iv'e said before, it is easier to sharpen your own teeth than try to wear dentures. Don't try to force yourself to use the techniques that people say work if they don't fit your own personality and style. The key to getting better is to practice, practice, practice. Don't sit at home reading when you can be out sarging. You will learn a lot more from experience than through studying.
