I've been lifting for 3-years; went from 138-192lb (5'11") over that time, minus 6-month hiatus from a shoulder injury. Its a shame that you're going to do in 2 cycles what took me 3 years. Anyways, I'll pass on the liver cancer, skin condition, and pancreas failure.

actually I got to 186ish completely naturally in a year and a half, how the hell did you start out at 138? I was 155 when I started and skinny as fuck... im weighting 196 now and not even fully in the middle of my cycle yet, I also havent taken any of the winny so far... BTW I have clomid for PCT and nolvadex for anti estrogen

I was scrawny, a real bitch. Well, I still am now, but not as bad. My elbows were the widest part of my arm. I'm tempted to post progress pics, but I don't want to gay it up.

Let's see some progress pics. You started out at about the same weight as me, but I'm 3 inches taller.

I don't have anything more recent, and yes I live in hotels because I travel for work.

Anyone can throw on the first 30lb, its the next 20lb that show your commitment to getting crushed every time you put up the iron.

What do you guys think of the "300" workouts?

gay as fuck.

I had a ton of success with Christian Thibideaux's 5x5 super routine, which I run for 3-weeks, 4 times per year. When I'm not on those, my normal workout is 5-7 lifts per day, 5 sets each, 8 reps with tech failure on the 9th. It doesn't really matter what you do, as long as you work the muscle in a way to either build mass or conversely, build density. The difference which creates progress is simply determination to push yourself further every lift.

The last rep is the only one that counts...did you work hard enough, or are you going to walk away from that lift thinking you could have given more? if you didn't push yourself past sanity, then you're wasting your time and mine because that's my iron, and you're just in the way. Go home and have a bud, american gladiators is on.

I've actually had the best success using relatively light weight at incredibly high volume. For each bodypart I do 32 sets of 12 reps with barely any rest in between. I do 2 bodyparts a day, every muscle group twice a week. Each muscle group takes roughly 45 minutes to do. I'm in the gym 6 days a week normally. This program has kept me very lean as well as giving me tremendous muscle growth. I do zero cardio.

Every now and again I change that routine up and do some Vinca Gironda stuff which is badass too. I used to believe in overtraining, now I do not. It's all in the mind. A friend of mine has that classic greek body that all women go crazy for. He takes one day a YEAR off.

I do the opposite, low volume a few days a week but high intensity and heavy ass weights, a chest/shoulder/tricep day for me could look like this:

Bench press, 3 sets of 3 reps, 4 minute rest
Dips or close grip bench, 3 sets of 5-8 reps, 3 min rest
DB Shoulder Press, 3 sets of 8
Skull Crushers
Flys

the thing is i can add weight very quickly doing this, last year on my last set of bench i did like 180x3, the other day I did 245x3... I am pretty fuckin strong now so I might switch over to more of a hypertrophy routine pretty soon

I saw a couple of pics of one of yall above. Im 5'11 about 142 soaking wet. When i used to swim i was 5'11 125 i looked like a reject from schindlers list. I cant gain weight to save my life. The only way i gain weight is lifting and even at that i get to about 150-155 and peak out. It seems yall know your shit. What would you recommend. I know basic workouts be it bulking/ getting cut, high-low reps.
