Isn't paintball the kind of guy thing that contributes to sucking with women? I mean I guarantee you that casanova wouldn't spend time playing paintball. What's next, poker night or football Sundays?

Don't get me wrong, I used to play paintball competively back in the early 90s, but I want to grow as a person who can enter social scenes with women. I've already mastered hanging out with the guys.

Go easy on me, I'm not trying to be anti-social. I am really being sincere here.

This is nothing more than a medium with which we can build better bonds with our friends and wings outside of PU. Being in The Community isn't just about picking-up chicks, along the way you make some great friends and as such you need to have your time with the guys. It's not all about women here, nor should it be.

Hmmmm... possibly, but it sounds more just like something some guys on here enjoying doing. I'd rather meet at someone's house for some motivation speaking and then socialize a bit with some beer to get to know each other. I have played my share of paintball and there's not a lot of getting to know each other although I agree it can establish common ground.

This event is open to all but really is structured so that wings that already know each other can have a some fun together without talking about or running Game. Think of it as a reprieve from the Community.

And, who's to say that this isn't a way for guys to get to know each other? It could just be that this is their specific style, different styles have to be respected. Plus anyway, we have plenty of opportunities that allow us to get to know each other outside of the Community as you described in your earlier post.

Finally, it may not seem like it but playing paint ball and doing other seemingly 'common' things...i.e. working out, sky diving, riding bikes on the weekend (no not bicycles), going camping, fishing, whatever can strengthen your Game because it helps you to become a more well-rounded guy. All too often, newbies come into the Community and quickly become one dimensional...they are PU all the time, every time. Becoming one dimensional, no longer enjoying activities like paintball, will basically turn you into an empty person, devoid of any real substance. Having 'depth' makes you a much better PUA.

Moderaters, you guys may want to split this into a different thread.
The difference is indifference.

We did it once before, and those who went are closer...know more about each other (for DHVing in-set, etc) and we just had fun shooting people (esp Westfall)

Since you're new to the community you might not have experienced this yet, but a lot of times when you meet up with people from the community it's hard to wing for them. Why? Because you don't know jack about them. Making shit up is fun for a little bit, but becomes an ass whipping trying to keep up with it all.

Why not just have REAL non-pickup events you can do with people you wing with for REAL stories? We all still crack jokes about that 1st game...Vector the Submarine...getting fucked by Mr. Bubble....etc etc. There are lots of other events in the works that will do the same type of bonding that this community needs...paintball was just the 1st one scheduled. It seems to me that you have a bigger problem with the actual event than what it stands for. Just wait for an even you like...or just come and socialize with us. The pickup topic DOES come up regardless of what we're doing.

Oh, and there would be absolutely nothing wrong with Poker Night or Football Sundays, bud.

Okay, you guys are good. You handled yourselves very nicely and did not violate when I baited you. Isn't it interesting that you applied social skills in a forum without a target to impress?

I did not intentionally bait you as I was sincere in my words but I would not have been surprised to have someone become antagonistic toward me when I questioned your event.

I look forward to meeting some of you one day, but right, paintball isn't my venue at the moment. I will wait for another opportunity.

P.S. I think I still have my original Nelspot 007 somewhere, but I painted it camo. Have a good time.

Actually, in all honesty, women are invited as well. I think I have maybe 3 coming but at least 1 for sure, and I think Vector is bringing 1, I don't know if anyone else is though. It's an event to bring women too as well, for ohh... a day 2 perchance?

Up too you if you don't want to come, but we wouldn't mind meetin you.

And I agree with the whole bonding thing.

Well damn, why didn't someone mention women in the beginning ;)

Alright... I am here to make friends. I need some single male friends so I hope that I don't run you all off with my opinionated personality. I have been in a relationship too long, I got cheated on too many times and my friends are all married.

In the past I have been very picky about accepting men into my social circle although I tend to get along with anyone in a casual setting. Part of why I am here is to open up my circle and I need to keep that in mind.

As for bringing a day2 to an event dominated by men that are PUAs, that takes some balls ;) haha! I hope this ends up being as much fun as I have it in mind to be (hanging out with you guys and learning the game).

Think of my personality like a shit test. You can either plow through until you get to know me or walk away. Aren't we here to strengthen ourselves and our ability to positively interact with not only women, but men also? Don't hate me because I'm beautifully opinionated. You may find it as contributing to my strength as a wingman one day.

We treat fellow PUAs with respect...and don't go after their womens. If I see it happen to someone else, I speak up. It's bad karma...and if you don't believe in karma it's just bad fucking form : ) no need to worry about that. : )

I hope that is the case. In some of the stuff I have read some PUAs believe that all are fair game in the spirit of competition. I am not like that. I have never in my life gone after a friend's girl but it's happened to me many times. There are just too many women in the world for me to feel the need to do that. Still though... a woman surrounded by men that know how to charm a woman and carry themselves with confidence can be risky :)

Casanaova certainly would have played paintball had he found it enjoyable to do so. Besides, why should we all strive to be like Casanova? After all he developed one of the worst cases of one-itus which lead to his downfall...

Would you consider playing basketball something that would contribute to the sucking with women? I think that having things you enjoy doing & guys you enjoy hanging out with (and shooting in the ass with pink paint) contribute to fullness of your life & therefore increase your success with women.

Poker night & video game night sound like great ideas, but I'm not so much into football...

After the last paint ball event I had 34 giant whelps all over my body... I texted several girls asking if that was hott or not, and progressed things from there. Also, a couple of girls saw all of the paintball wounds, and they commented how sexy it was....
