I have a list in my head of some quick easy openers that work consistently.

Most of these are of the L.I.O. (Low Investment Opener) style.

Clothing
My favorite one so far has been commenting on clothing, especially hats and jackets.
If I see some girl with a really cool hat or a furry jacket, I'm like "I like your jacket".

Or "That looks nice on you.".

Usually, you get a smile and "thanks". So then I'll pause and sit just out of reach and if she looks at me, I re-open.

Real simple.

Waves

I do this silly wave that I learned from my buddy Manny called the Manny Wave.
Its a very fast wave coupled with a silly grin.
Works great.

Again, let the sexual tension build up, then go in.

Distracted Lockin
Another friend of mine has also experimented with this one and confirmed it does work. It causes girls to give you IOI's.

You just post up somewhere and put the girl in your peripheral vision. Use your more dominant eye to do this.
Then just sit back and wait. Keep her in your peripheral vision and watch her.
She will see your profile of the side of your face but subconsiously it will register that you're looking at her.

Watch the sexual tension build up.

Its important to pick your venues for this. Alot of distraction may cause it to evaporate if there's alot going on but it generally works most of the time.

As the sexual tension builds up, you can open with anything. "What's up" is fine.

Hehe, got one for you, it's killer. Dunno if its original or not, since I haven't really studied much pua stuff yet, but it's something I figured out to approach solo girls. It's got mentalist trickery in it.

Just walk up to any solo girl anywhere and say:

"Hey, you've got something on your teeth."

This little sentence will get you talking to just about anyone. This sentence actually does about a bajillion things...

First, it is a reliable way to cut through even the toughest of shields, because no one wants to have something in their teeth.

Second, it sets up a situation where the hb is seeking approval from YOU, since she will try to get it off, and then ask you if she got it. It puts her immediately into a situation where she cares what you think about her appearance.

Third, you can say it to anyone, and they will never know it's a bluff. Most people don't have mirrors readily at hand, and even those that do will try to get it off for a bit before they pull out the mirror. You can just say that they got it already. If there is no mirror around though, make them work at it!

Fourth, it sets you up to ask a silly question. Once she has removed the huge green hunk of foliage from her teeth, ask her a random silly question. Any good open ended question will do, as long as it is interesting. I find it easiest to comment on clothing, since I might as well keep her caring about my opinion of her. I might say something like, "I like the necklace though, does it have a story?" or "Hey, you wouldn't happen to know the capital of North Dakota would you? Me and a buddy were trying to remember, and it's gonna bug me all day!"

Once you ask your open ended question, listen to her words, remember the key ones, and ask questions about them. Poof, you are in conversation.

I think it works because side ways looking is an IOI (it's in the VAH) and it happens at the subconscious level, then her subconscious responds with IOIs if she wants to be opened. I've also seen it have girls open with this. she's thinking "there's something about that guy, do i know him? What is it?" and boom she comes over.

when you tell a girl she has something in her teeth youre doing a couple of things like 1) opening 2) negging her 3) DHV. Its simple and yah youre right. She feels self conscious, you show higher value by showing that you dont care, and yah its good to keep the conversation going even after. Being suttle and just asking her some question like the necklace is good. Youre just there and she clearly isnt thinking its a pickup and you are a guy of high value.

By the way, I think you might have gotten that opener/neg in the game or the VAH. Others similar are like oh, you have an eye booger, or hey, you got a stain on your shirt/pants... (if she looks freaked out to your comment and has the oh crap face) throw, "its alright... its not that bad."
