Favorite new opener

I've been playing with this one for a while, and I like it. A couple weeks ago Finesse and I used it all night. Way more interesting than "where are you from?" and it does not come off as pickup-y.

"What kind of porn do you like?"

It presumes they like porn, the question is simply what kind...

I was prepared to say "okay, then, romance novels" in case they insisted they did not like any kind of porn, but it has never happened.

And then there are a lot of directions you can take it, depending what you feel like.

Depending on the answer you can cold read into "see, you seem like the kind of girl who has a wild side..." or "you seem like the kind of girl who seems quiet, but when you're around someone you feel really comfortable with, your wild side comes out..."

Optional elements:
* Act a little embarassed to ask, before asking. Gives it more credibility I think.
* My friend and I were just talking about this, my ex-girlfriend really didn't like porn, and I was telling him that most girls like porn, but he thought girls generally don't like porn.
* Optional, your ex-girlfriend who disliked porn was sorta dull in the sack.


Best if your wing is standing right there. Solo approach this could come off as pretty creepy...

The first 3-set, one girl hooked immediately but she was "beta", the "alpha" girl, I still had to win over. But I also think it might have been the fact that I didn't ground it, instead I just rolled right in there with a cheesy ass grin, and looked them all in the eyes once over then asked the question.

I like that opener. Try grounding it with, "my friend always insists on watching pornos with a story. She says it helps her get in the mood. But I get an urge to fast forward past the bad acting." You could change "friend" to "ex-girlfriend," but why not take the opportunity to establish yourself as the "friends with benefits" type of guy.

I mean, is this an opener you would only use in a bar/club or would you use it during day game?
