I stopped by the local comedy house in LR, and they were having open mic night. It was going well right up until the rape joke...

They were asking for it...wearing their damn miniskirts & eye glitter. The rape joke I was refering to wasn't my penguin rape joke. It was:

I'm doing open mic night because I want to do this for a living... they say 'do what you love', and I figure comedy is the next best thing, since there's not much money in being a professional rapist...

There was a drunk girl in the audiance that was really into me (looking at me and smiling a lot before and durring my open mic act), after that joke, she seemed to lose all interest.

if you are interested in doing comedy you should check out melvin helitzers comedy writing secrets, I can send you ebook if you want. Don't use rape jokes lol.

Yeah, I knew which one you ment. I didn't actually think you had one about pengiuns, I was just being an ass.


Although, you've made some pretty funny jokes in some of your post. I see no reason you couldn't be funny on stage.

I actually have a book on stand up that I've never read. It's your's if you want it.
