Pick-Up While at Work

Postby lawdawg505 » Wed Jan 02, 2008 3:48 pm

Ok guys, so I work at a mall in Fort Worth and obviously its my job to sell shit. Well I have to talk to the girls that come in to help them out and eventually buy stuff. So I was wondering if you guys had some ideas about how I might be able to sell merch and at the same time use game for my personal needs. It would def. make work a lot more rewarding! Let me know what you guys think.

As far as selling of merchandise just learn how to ask questions and qualify the sale. Sales is alot like picking up women. In fact everything you do in life is a sale. Whether your selling an idea, selling yourself, or selling a product. Like he says in "Boiler Room", either they're gonna sell you on why they're not gonna buy what your offering or your gonna sell them on why "to" buy it.

When it comes to hitting on women at work, damn bro I do that shit all day long. I am a manager at a restaraunt chain and I am bombarded by hot women. I have already got several numbers and fucked around with a couple. You just have to use some of the same shit that you learn in the industry. IOI's IOD's, etx. They are coming to you for something so it takes the whole cold approach out of the equation. It actually makes it easier because you already have something to talk about. Just be friendly and throw some playful negs in here and there. That's all I do and it works womders. I find something that we have in common and grow on that. The difference is mine are regulars and I can build repoire whereas yours might not be. Flirt and use the skills that you have been taught. Lookm for the IOI's and then number-close. Put yourself out there more and it will start to come more naturally and you will seem more genuine.

Good Luck.......

I've done pick up at work before its really not hard but there's little tricks that can make it go smoother. No issues with opening and really she should be comfortable talking to you since shopping is like a drug to women.

I used to work at a music store and would just bridge back and forth from what they were looking for and her telling me about her self. Ask a bridge question like.. "so there good on cd but have you seen them in concert" almost 90% of the time they would say 'no but I want to :(' I'd then throw in a change up like... I'd take you but youd have to get on the waiting list first. 'wink' and then move back to work-personal-work. Basically its all really in the bridging.

I'm working part time at a pretty public job right now as a valet and have had pretty damn good luck to be honest. Just open with something like, lol you look like you had a great flight. They open up and me being the first breath of humor and fun that they've had in a few hours its pretty simple game.

I used to work at Best Buy back in the day, and it was like a turkey shoot. This was before I found any PUA stuff, so I was a little more “dancing monkey” but it worked really well. The biggest thing I remember is derailing conversations, you ask your normal qualification buying questions and just hook on something they say then run with it. Amp up her state, be flirty, then move back into the more logical sale frame, then derail again. The biggest problem I found, looking back on it, was not giving her enough reasons for me to be interested. After all, you are talking to a ton of people everyday, why is she so special? Beyond that, I'd just ask for the number or tell her to meet me for lunch/whenever I got off.
Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge. It is those who know little, and not those who know much, who so positively assert this or that; and that problem will never be solved by science.
