It all goes back to social evolution. Women want to look good to attract the best possible mates.
Men do the same. How many guys do you know who max out their credit card and live in debt to wear designer clothes and drive a nice car just so they will appear successful? They are everywhere in Dallas. $30,000 millionaires.
Its not wrong to present yourself in the best possible way. Its evolutoin. You just got to be able to back it up.
I remember a few years back I started seeing this really petite cutie. She was a size 0 and could wear some kid's sized clothes yet she had fairly large breasts for her size.
We went out a few times and finally progressed to where it was time to show some skin. However, she wouldn't let me take off her bra. Finally, she got worked up enough where she got out of bed, walked 10 feet away and removed her bra herself. It fell to the floor with a very loud "thunk" - all padding. I started laughing which didn't go over well. I wasn't trying to be cruel but it was funny.
However, she was an great girl and incredibly sexy and I dated her for quite a while until she moved away. She is still one of my all time favorites. Yeah, she distorted the truth but she had enough to offer that it didn't matter.
Relating it back to PU - the lines, tactics and routines may help you but you have to be able to back them up. You can only run on community material for so long before you have to start showing who you really are.
Girls just hearing about the lines or getting a cursory understanding of the community are not going to appreciate it for what it is.
