NLP - Who studies / practices it?

Mystery Method, Speed Seduction, Cocky & Funny, etc. (Post only field tested material)

Since i moved down to Texas about 2 month ago i would say.

I hit the ground running with NLP. Studing many many many things such Chis Howard material, reading Joseph O'Connors book, even studing a few magicians who claim NLP usage. (I like magic and have been off and on with it for geez I dunno how long) anyways though.

NLP I have a few people that I play around with it on. I think if you want to learn it by all means go ahead but, really don't focus on it too long before you know it you will get sucked out and be posting on NLP forums. Its interesting stuff to do.

My personal opinion:

Its not bad Learn it, if you feel you have enough things worked out. If not go learn some inner game.

I think some of it lacks foundation so... I want you to think of a map. Now clear that image and imagine a Territory now put the map on that image and spin it around zoom it all the way in then push it all the way out until its gone.

lol

I think I need a better idea...perhaps a detailed example of this in use in order to gain interest in it. I've heard a bit about it, but it just doesn't seem like my cup of tea.

Its a not tea its pure emotional crack.

Its addicting.

The f'd up part is you can seriously make someone bipolar if you dont know what your doing. lol

Though some of it works. I think what one has to do is really study it to really grasp is potential power. I dont know I've done some research on it trying to debunk some of its theory. blah blah yada yada. If your not interested in it yet.. hold on work on your self do something more constructive. I have been fine with out it. Though when the time comes and you do get nose deep in it. You will find alot of these things you already were doing. but its about having unconscious competence after you weeded it out.. furthermore like i said dont worry about it I would not even worry about my babble if you really dont want to further your learning on it. Take your time when your ready to will go into it.

though if you want I can teach you a cool little trick to make someones drink or food not be as pleasurable anymore while they are eating, if you want. Its a fun trick PM me if you want to know. Its purely based on NLP.

I've studied and practiced a lot of NLP/speed seduction in my journey. I can say that it does work well... to a certain extent. It's not mind control, and most of the value elicitations can be done just as well, if not better just by state pumping(laughing, crying, screaming). I think that it's really just a crutch for us to believe in ourself.
belief is what streamlined true pickup is all about. no scripts, just the belief and attitude that I am the alpha male, these women would be lucky to sleep with me. That's the direction I feel like I'm headed anyway.

NLP

Postby Tribulus1000 » Sat Dec 15, 2007 2:54 pm

I've been into NLP even pre-community.

The best book for beginning NLP is probably Introducing NLP by OConnor/Seymour. The Complete Idiot's Guide to NLP is also pretty good.
Tony Robbin's Personal Power, Personal Power II and Awaken The Giant Within on CD are all very good.
I've got a copy of The Structure of Magic by Bandler,Grinder which is impossible to read.
But I head from Captain Jack that Bandler is an amazingly good trainer.
Once you get a grasp of the basics, you can move on to Speed Seduction and Darren Brown's stuff.
But you also should read Robert Cialdini's Influence book since alot of the imbedded commands and language patterns are based on the Six Weapons of Influence.
Much of Mystery Method is based on the work of Robert Cialdini.
Why should I listen to you when you don't even get laid?

Been interested in NLP for around 10 years.

It's definitely part of my life...not just pick up.

I use it some in pick up but not as my primary most to the time I mearly link myself to happy memories she has had in her past to break into a deeper comfort than you would usually get in a public atmosphere.
