Orange? Can we do something with the colors here and also maybe darken up text...

I'm thinking periwinkle and lavender...

Actually, I have trouble seeing the posts because the contrast between the orangle/yellow and the white background is not strong enough. Can we change to more contrasting colors?

Everyone will have their own personal taste, and I'm reluctant to open up the theme to suggestions in general.

But I have heard that 10% of men are color-blind to some degree, so I can understand if things that look okay to me might not work for everyone, meaning a usability issue, not just personal preference.

Here's what I did: I made it so users can select their own themes. To do so, go to your profile, and on the bottom left there should be a drop-down that will let you pick one of the other themes. There are quite a few that come preinstalled, so one of them should work.

Since some of the themes don't show the sidebar at all on the profile page, I added the theme picker to the news page as well. I was hoping not to clutter up the main page, but for now it's better than people getting "stuck" on certain themes.
