I was asked about having the ability to upload personal avatars to the board instead of having it stored at another location on the web.

This capability is curently turned off. The reason is that when upgrading to the latest and greatest version of the phpbb forum, the avatars will not be transfered. I have tried moving them manually though to no avail.

I will go ahead and turn on the capability to upload personal avatars, those please note that during migrations to new versions of the forum software, they will be lost and need to be re-uploaded.
