1 an 3rd fridays are the "standard visitation" that single fathers are so graciously awarded by the court, it would open up the timing for them to occasionally come out. This is a good thing. I agree

My suggestion as far as Ft Worth goes - don't shelf the meetups. What we should do is...since Smirks is a moderator, let him hold meetups out there at the same time Dallas is having their meetups. Then once every other month or so, have a big meetup.

That way, Smirks can let new members in to the board from Ft Worth but we are all still one big board.

As far as 18+, I agree with Vector...no need for any meetup night but some kind of a Day Game section and maybe a meetup would be fine.

So the 18+ can't get in to bars? Boo hoo. Part of getting initiated in to anything is that you have to put up with shit until you're bigger and stronger. Quit coddling the youngin's.

As a 19 yr old, I LOVE THIS IDEA.
I work part-time and work every single weekend night so I cannot make it out to the night meetups, unless I take off on Fridays, which I cannot afford to do.
In fact it was sheer luck that I got off Thursday to go to the Dr. Mike thing to meet Vector.
Northpark would be the obvious venue for these meetups as it has the most talent.
Saturday would be the best day to do these meetups, I have been there countless Fridays and Saturdays, and on Saturday Northpark gets busier earlier and stays busier later than Friday.
It starts to get busy at like 1 so we could all meet up at like noon for lunch and some role call then start sarging.
I don't want to sound needy or pathetic but PLEASE make this happen!!!

Also, I love the idea of having a day game section.
One idea I like, that I have not seen mentioned here, is maybe we could have the General Discussion area split in two:
18-21 General Discussion (which could cover day game, classroom game, 18+club game)
and a
21+ General Discussion (which could cover bar game and night game)
Like on theattractionforums.
This supports BR's theory that an 18 yr old thinks differently than a 30 yr old, and seperates those different ideas, but one thing I do have to say about BR's statement on a "30 yr old not being able to mentor an 18 yr old", I think a 30 yr old would do a great job mentoring an 18 yr old.
Like you said, a 30 yr old has more life experience and can use his knowledge to keep the 18 yr old on the right track.
In fact, I have been sarging very frequently with a pua that is 40+ yrs old and he does a great job mentoring me and the other day gamers that go to Northpark on Saturday.

As for the Fort Worth meetups, although I cannot attend because of work, I agree with keeping them a bimonthly thing.
I live on the 45 min east of Dallas and it isn't the most enjoying thing to drive all the way to Dallas to sarge, and I am sure Smirks feels the same way.
Maybe in 2 yrs when I am 21 there will be an East of Dallas meetup as well.
That'd be cool, but for now I am happy with how it is, but a day game meetup would bring this lair a lot closer I think.
