Recognizing the Donators who help keep this going

Postby Mojo » Fri Jun 15, 2007 12:14 pm

Thank all of you who have donated. All money will go strictly to the maintenance of this site and any events that benefit the members.

I was considering creating a page on the site to recognize the men who help keep this going. The page would consist of their handle which would be placed in a bracket such as "Less than $20.00", "$20.00 to $50.00", "$50.00 to $100.00", and "$100.00 or more".

Your thoughts?

Thanks,

Mojo

How about this:

Associate - $1 to $999
Affiliate - $1,000 to $4,999
Sponsor - $5,000 to $19,999
Patron - $20,000 to $99,999
Benefactor - $100,000+

I do like the idea of this, as with more money, DPUA will be able to do more events, etc.

I do have a couple of suggestions for ways to boost funds. We could volenter some of our time to have a sort of bootcamp, for newer memebers who are wanting to learn the basics, the proceedes could go directly to DPUA. I'm by no means one of the good PUAs here, but I'd be willing to help out, and if paired with someone who is strong in my weak areas, I think we could produce a very worthwhile bootcamp for rAFCs who are not yet ready for a real $500 bootcamp.

Just a thought.

Also, I've noticed a lot of us are very business savvy I'm pretty sure if we got together, we could buy some sort of club, and with our knowledge of social dynamics, we could turn it into the place to be. It would probablly be hard to execute something like this, but I do believe that collectively, we have the skills.

And of course,

A bank heist. Who doesn't want to be part of a heist? As an added bonus, it would make for a great DHV story later.

haha The best time to rob it is when the power goes out for the city block. All banks have to still function as a bank, so some buddies and yourself walk into the place... and empty the drawers.... no time for the safe. Stick em up!! hahaha

jk btw.

but seriously

I like that idea.

A good PUA community like this can help the skills of it's members than any "real" bootcamp. In the beginning that was what this community was about, guys helping guys, trading information, sharpening skills. Before there were no gurus. Indeed, gurus like Juggler, Mystery, Style, originally emerged from the community.

So, my fellow Pua's, I think I will place a page up to recognize those men who make all this possible. I'll post a link next to the donation button on the front page.
