I felt the same way about the book. The first half was interesting and the 2nd half was drama and I never did finish that last of it. As far as you being in HS or college it does not matter. You are in a prime position to meet many women. If you arent very outgoing then make it a point to say HI to everyone and always have a smile. Start randomly talking to girls. Get comfortable talking to women. Best of luck.

Never too early to start learning about how the game works. This is the study of human interaction, it's not porn. No need to ban anybody.

Don't put yourself down and don't set up an expectation that people will dislike you or be rude to you. Here on the forum it doesn't really matter, but with girls when you first meet, they will be watching for cues as to what kind of person you are. If you come off as uncomfortable with yourself they will assume you're right to think so and will be really uninterested.

I used to do that with women. Not in a bar/pickup setting but with acquaintances I was interested in. It was a subconscious hedge against rejection. But it is really counter productive because I now know that it causes women to think less of me. Only when you take a little risk and put yourself out there (and you do the other things right) can you get the reward.

The biggest thing in high school is having the confidence to go talk to the girls, most guys dont develop it at that age and the guys that do are the ones who the girls come to because of their status. I would concentrate on how to control conversations by gathering good examples off of all the threads here. Use them on hot girls in your high school that you see everyday in certain places - class, parking lot, your locker, ect. Take your time and dont get discouraged. Probably another good peice of advice I can give you is if you are taking a girl out on date - take her somewhere nobody else would, research it a little bit - make sure its fun - remember that what you do all her friends are going to hear about through gossip. If you play your cards right you can instantly up your status quo. If you use some of these approaches and methods at any parties you are golden. Good to develop your skills at a young age, by the time you go to college you will have a big edge - everything changes.

just reading your post, you come across as having a poor mindset. watching the david deangelo double your dating advanced series, particularly the bits on self limiting beliefs, would take you about 100 steps forward.

also, theres a 15 year old guy in the local lair.

youre 17 years old. people start having sex at what, 15 commonly? why then are you too old? makes no sense bzzzzzzzzzt pwned by reality neeeext

Cactus, you really need to fix your outlook. Self-pity is a vicious cycle because at times we tend to derive a sick satisfaction from putting ourselves down. Meanwhile, it lowers your social value and lessens your ability to enjoy other things, so you just spend more and more time sitting around feeling sorry for yourself. Get out there and do some EC/Newbie missions. The worst thing that can happen there is that they won't make eye contact or won't smile back at you, and in my experience, such people are very much the minority.
