During my brief stay at North Carolina State University, I made one of the best decisions of my life. I joined a Fraternity unlike no other. One with no hazing and no pressure, just a true brotherhood. It was, and still is the essence of Fraternity. I have taken on a great task for my Fraternity by expanding it to the eastern part of Texas. Even though my Fraternity was founded in 1841 it has remained small with only 29 active Alphas (our version of chapters) at the country's top Universities. It was made known to me today that the headquarters have been looking for someone to start a colony of the Fraternity at one of the major Universities in eastern Texas. I have agreed to do this although I do not know which University I plan on attending. I may go to UT, A&M, UTD, UTA, or UNT... I just wanted to share in my excitement because this is gonna be really fun!!!

That's great. And when you get out of college, you can become a Mason or join a secret sect. Then when you're middle aged, there's Shriners. Then when you're really old you can join the Elks Lodge.
You can wear funny hats and talk about fundraisers, helping the kids and playing shuffleboard.
