On the MASS of a photon (yeah you got that right)

1) if there were only 2 electrons in the universe (MASS particles),
would they eventually ORBIT eachtother?

2) do PHOTONS give off gravity fields?

I understand that photons have no mass (though they have momentum).
further, I am also aware that photon's are influenced by gravity.
however, do photons HAVE gravity? an electron possesses its own
gravity well, but does a photon as well?

THOUGHT EXPERIMENT: if a universe only contained 2 photons (and
nothing else), would each photon influence the path of the other? if
they moved away from eachother, would they separate forever
(unbounded) OR ... would they instead, by gravitational attraction,
change direction? Since they can't slow down, would the two
gravitational pull cause a vector change, ultimately causing the two
photons to ORBIT eachtother? is a universe with only 2 photons
ultimately a black hole too, since even 2 photons can only get so far
apart until the gravitational influence of eachother cause the
universe to become bounded (and yes I grant you the influence would be
... TINY is a good word).

Which direction would they go? left or right, in orbiting eachother?
none if there is nothing else to influence the equilibrium. but what
then if there were THREE photons?

Thank you for your anticipated ponderings.

I hate to say it but the mass of a particle can be solved by

m = c^-2e

so maybe I'm a science geek too, but you know "bullshit baffles brains".

Ps.

It a result of the theory of relativity that a photon has momentum, but have zero mass. One of the worrisome aspects of relativity and quantum mechanics is that we must abandon our graphic notions of Newtonian mechanics, and also some of the notions of classical electromagnetic heory of Maxwell. The problem you are asking about is only one of several notions that has to be abandoned. In addition, there is the "fact" that the photon has angular momentum -- but from the classical picture, "something" has to be spinning. What's spinning? And an electron orbiting a proton in the hydrogen atom should spiral into the proton emitting electromagnetic radiation, but it doesn't. Why not? The "why not" to all the above is that our classical picture just does not correspond to observation, so we are forced to reject our "picture" and adhere to the "observation" and not the other way around.

Wow.

The thing I pondered is why is that floating out there on the internet? Is it real or is it used as a marketing tool so most guys will like this guy?

I found it by googling "embracetheunknown" which is that fucker's email btw...

Hahaha everyone send him an email.
