Hey Finesse,
I personally wouldnt spend money on a workout program, i see some of the personal trainers out there, and it just looks like they are going through the motions.
First off, its just like sarging, you need to get yourself to a gym. Eat clean foods and then the rest will happen over time.

Ive been considering posting a week by week workout regime and nutrition program for everyone thats trying to get in shape. I have worked with college athletes and am into being physical fit.

I am sure Mojo would attest to my credibility. IF there is popular demand for it, I will start a thread. Personally, I wouldnt pay for that or anyother program/home gym equipment.

actually the P90X system will kick your ass.....it puts you on a diet to where it gives you what you need to eat depending on what phase you are in. first phase is just making it through the workouts and the second and third phases are just insane. My advice is if you are going to try it, buy the pull up bar as well when you purchase the system because you get a discount when buying in bulk. They also hook you up with an online trainer for free. Damn I sound like a commercial, but I used to work out in the gym and it does have it's perks, but this system will not let your body plateau so you just keep getting gains. But it really isnt for the beginner or anything you have to pass their fitness test before even starting.

Little known fact: This is the reason the T-Rex was so aggressive.

A good non-expensive book to have that everyone (I think) who likes to work out should own is:

The New Encyclopedia of Modern Bodybuilding by Arnold Schwarzenegger

It includes, weightlifting, bodybuilding and powerlifting and yes...,

there is a difference for those who do not know.

He has workouts for all level types, beginner, advanced, etc.

Warning: His workouts are insane. I don't follow his exact workouts, rather use them as a guideline but I may follow them more closely when I change my workout.

I workout not only to have a better body for females to gander at BUT mainly for myself. Since I was 15 or 16 years old I liked to workout. Do it for yourself first and if want to, females second.

P90x is great. It is def a great way to get your workout at home and personally I love it. I am at 5'7 weight at 167 begining of the year. (college made me fat) I used it for about 3 months with my daily jogg, I am 140lbs. I did not lose it by going on stupid diets, just ate a lilttle better and did the p90x workout. It def beats buying an expensive machine at home or spending money at the fitness center. You do need dumbells and a pullup bar.
