Copy DVDs?

Does anyone know how to rip and copy DVDs? Do I need over-priced software to do it?

NERO costs too much in my opinion. I use AnyDVD running in the background along with dvd decrypter which you can download for free. It's the V3.5.4.0 edition but I have never came across any problems since AnyDVD is always running updates.

AnyDVD is about 50 bucks for the software but works with cds and dvds
Dvd Decrypter is free. just google it.
