Hey guys, my hairstylist that I've used for like 10 years has moved to New York so I'm in need of a new one. Who do you guys use?
I'd prefer specific recommendations. Name, contact info, where they're located, etc.
PM me the details.
Thanks!

I will not recommend a stylist, but provide a review.
A girl I dated recommended Her stylist, Kelly garza from salon pompeo in uptown. I went to her twice. The first time, she did an ok job, definitely not worth the money, but I gave her the benefit of the doubt because I was a new client and my hair was quite a mess then.
The second time, she absolutely butchered my hair! You cant really tell when I put product in it, but my hair is all different lengths and all sorts of fucked up!! This is not to make it look natural, i just think she fucked up really bad. Secondly, it's not exactly as how I wanted it or described. Needless to say, I will not be going back to her.
I will say this though, the girl I dated still goes to her and Kelly has never messed up her hair.
Cost is about the norm for any male hair cut at a nice salon. It was $45 bucks, and tip is your choice...

I do mine myself in the bathroom. Very exclusive.

Does anyone have any useful information for this topic?
I am thinking of getting a hair cut soon, but it seems I only have two options.
1 - Go to the person that has cut my hair the last few times. She is cheap, like $20, but kinda fucks it up everytime.
2 - Over pay for a hair cut somewhere like tony and guy. I really don't want to pay $60 + for someone to cut my hair (I'd probably attempt doing it myself before paying that $$$ plus tip).

I used a place in uptown a couple times before I shaved my head. It is called Travis Salon. It is on Mahon St. I think the guys name was Tim. He was probably the owner.
30 bucks + Tip
The first time I went in there I was shaggy and he gave me a fohawk. I felt like he did a great job and got quite a few compliments. Of course I just went from a super shaggy look to a sleek look so that was probably the main reason for the compliments. The second time I went in there he didn't do as good of a job. Seems like you will never get a perfect haircut every single time.
I am cutting my own hair now but if I need a good haircut I would probably go back to him again.

Check out stylelabb which is in downtown Dallas. I've never been there but have heard they're pretty good. They charge $35 bucks for a mens cut. Ask for Cruz.

I went to this place today and he seemed to do an awesome job. Much better than the cosmetology drop out that was cutting my hair in he/she/its apartment before.
So Travis Salon in uptown definitely gets my approval. It's only $30 before tip too. Not $426 like at some places such as toni and guy.
